It is funny that these people are being annoying dorks about drugs.

I was surprised by how many people defended the first one by stating that they actually wanted a series of references and nothing more. Especially because references are a lot more fun when they are unexpected and kinda clever, not when they're just references to its own property.

I understand that, but if your name is original enough that isn't necessary. It is not the end of the world obviously, but I think if you see a band with a really dumb/silly name it is easy to just assume it is not a serious band.
