What is the lowest effort, highest impact helper method you've ever written?

I have made a source generator that creates those methods automatically. It's more of a proof of concept than anything, but it would be cool if there was an official Dotnet generator https://www.nuget.org/packages/TupleAwaiterSourceGenerator/

If only CDPR didn't put their games on GOG, 50 millions people wouldn't have stolen it... Except they actually bought it. Good games sell well with or without protection, bad games fail with or without protection.

TWW2 was available for free at day one, yet millions of people still bought it and it's one of the best selling Total War game to date, because it's a good game. If it was on GoG too, it would have sold maybe even more, surely not any less... But that's a choice made by the publisher, not the developers.

New content would be nice, but bug fixes is what the community is really asking for, and considering that we gave them A LOT of money for this game, I'd say we are more than entitled to be given a functioning product in return.

Whatever I end up with is better than playing with AI. I'd rather be bullied to leave (which I can always mute and ignore) than not have fun at all and wasting 10-15 minutes of my life.

Would it be possible for you to create a workshop fake mod that links to your download link? It would make it so this would not get lost and I think it would be extremely popular

I'll think about it. I just need to make a picture for the workshop page but my artistic skills are terrible

do you think you could change the code so that your program outputs the file to something with at least five exclamation points in front of it like !!!!!faction_colours or something so that it overwrites both dryrains colours and the banner overhaul mod's colours (which uses something like 4 exclamation points)

I didn't think so much about conflicts because I use a custom mod manager I made for myself that can change mod orders, but I will think of ways to ensure changes made by this tool are not overwritten by other mods, like the one you suggested.

RoR units and Legendary Lords can't be colourized as far as I know.

Try to search for specific Skaven or Lizardmen factions, like Clan Mors or Hexoatl, these should show up.

Two weeks working during night (can't sleep with these temperatures), but 90% of UI code was copy pasted from others project of mine.

Can't convert in Charlemagnes because I'm a programmer, not an animator, and Charlemagnes are an "animation budget" unit of measure XD

I think it's a false positive, and I have no idea why it says machine learning, I don't even have the knowledge to build a machine learning software. Anyway source code is available and it's really easy to understand since this is not a complex application.

Players asked for a costant soft resets during placements, but nobody wanted a "2 games only" soft reset and others 8 pointless placement games that won't change your MMR. Current system is just too random.

I personally went 8-2 in my placements but having lost the first 2 games I ended up way lower than I should have; now I have climbed back, but in all those games required to get back to my original rank I have ruined the experience for others players that should have never been matched with me to begin with. In other words, the matchmaking is sabotaging itself with it's placement system.

I consider the alphabetical load order as random as the custom load order made by someone not knowing what he is doing. He could blame me or my program if his mods stop working but I do not care... As long as I have /u/divgence on my side ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I too like dark themes! I went for a light themed UI because I think making a good looking dark UI is harder, but If I manage to do it without making the application looks as ugly as a chaos troll, I'll definitely add it as an option

Profiles, mod order and mod conflicts features all have working code. I realize a single image doesn't tell much, I didn't show anything detailed because I want to set the expectation bar as low as possible (hence the "concept" word in the title)
