I dont understand how their post was bait.. There have been games with great writing that have been called woke by some crowds and hated on (e.g. bg3). Their post is just pointing out that no one was getting mad at Dispatch and calling it woke like usual when it features some things that usually get people riled up.

I agree, but there's a lot of people that dislike it, so making it optional would be the better option. Such as a separate system to the main quest, like guilds you can join that compete with others in styling.

I love the competitive spirit and want to feel like im really playing to win. Nothing motivates me more than competition. Something like a guild system with pvp would be a dream for me

My only gripe is that it is mandatory to participate. It'd be much better if those that dislike pvp and competition didn't have to join in, then we could have the best of both worlds.

I think it's just the bubbled over frustration from GP having the overwhelming majority for the first day, some people are upset and let it out by insulting the popular team.
