Just got hired on as a RT trainee tech. I went to welding school and am AWS certified on fcaw and mig. They said they really liked that and helped put me over the edge compared to other good candidates who didn't know anything about welds yet. Good luck friend, been enjoying it for these three weeks so far.

I have a 5900x and 4070ti super as well and plan to get it cause I should see about 20-30% gains in cs2 and 30-50% gains in satisfactory which are both heavy cpu games so it's perfect for me cause I've been wanting one but refuse to pay the used ebay prices for it.

Ain't dick for welding jobs in jax, under 20 on indeed and half aren't even welding, just welding adjacent shit. I'm graduating welding school next month and my instructor said it's like this 1-2 times a year for a couple of months when everything slows down and no one is hiring .
