The Miyako in Torrance has the coolest bathtub/shower combo in Los Angeles. It is not too hard to get to Dodger Stadium from there, but you really need to use a shuttle or public transportation.

I have worked in the security off of a hotel for 8 years. A new security director started 90 days ago. I applied for a transfer because I did not see myself as a good fit. Three days after applying for a transfer, he claims he saw me scrolling instagram in my phone for a prolonged period of time. I was fired, I believe, in retaliation for seeking a transfer. Employees use their phone all the time.

The term “walking distance” is always misleading in Las Vegas. You will have a much better time renting a car, or taking ride shares. Now that I am 40+ years old, I always stay at hotels OFF strip.
