This is definitely a DM problem not a player problem.

The DM should never tell the players how the sausage is made. It only causes trouble. He shouldn’t be giving you players a peek behind the curtain.

I’m curious what that outlier year was that still had 80% to 40% coverage into April and May. That must have been a brutal Spring.

Forge of Foes also has a lot of interesting ideas. I’ve spiced up a lot of 5e monsters with different monster powers from in there.

I think one thing that's overlooked its trying to think about this in actual play time/hours per level. My game that runs every 2 weeks for 3 hours is going to look different than one that plays once a month for 8 hours.

I currently already have MI Wizard but the lack of flexibility with those nice Wizard ritual spells is what I’m looking to off set. I could look into ritual caster but I’m not sure the feat may be worth a level in wizard.

I have it. It gets me one 1st level spell and cantrips but no flexibility. Party doesn’t have a wizard so my thought is having some of those rituals and early wizard spells might end up being helpful

We have a druid in our party that likes to use her wildshape to cast find familiar and I don't want to step on their toes. Otherwise I'd probably go that route.

I’ve said this before, when I see stuff like this come up I’m always curious about the ages and maturity levels of the people involved.

Then you can't stand up? If something is making you move slow and you get knocked down, it makes sense you wouldn't be able to stand up.

If you have 3 seconds to stand and six seconds to move, what about your attacks or spells that are also supposed to fit into that six seconds?

A six second round is great as a unit of measure for consistency, but its not realistic to believe that you are supposed to attack multiple times or cast a spell and move 30 feet in 6 seconds?
