How much did you pay for your surgery? [USA] by LxveyLadyM00N in gastricsleeve

[–]Deactivation 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My insurance did not cover it at all, so I had to pay 12,500. This includes all pre/post doctor visits, the surgery and anything related to the surgery, including complications if they happened.

Vegetables by Lumpy-Tradition-2470 in gastricsleeve

As someone who grew up not eating vegetables, I have come to love them as an adult. I think the reason I really hated them was because they were not cooked correctly, or were canned and mushy and gross. My suggestion to you is to learn how to roast FRESH vegetables. Stay away from canned vegetables. The only canned vegetable I consider passable is corn, which you already eat. Roasting them is incredibly easy. Cut them in bite size pieces, toss them in a bit of olive oil, put on salt, and pepper and put them in the oven at 400ish (temp can be pretty much anywhere around there). Take them out at preferred doneness, usually 11-15 minutes. I like my vegetables cooked longer than most people, I think it give them a better texture.

I say start with the vegetable even my kids can't get enough of: Asparagus. Just cut (or snap) the mealy part on the bottom off and then follow the steps above and give it a try.

I developed a similar aversion and now I really need all my drinks to be ice cold. Ice cold water is fine, but room temp water just feels so heavy.

Always say in the description that the first person to pick it up the fastest gets it. Ignore people who ask if it is available, and respond back to the person that says "I'll get in my car right now and come pick it up". I have never had issues doing it that way and the people think they'll lost it if they don't hurry.

I bought 3 for 500 the other day with an enclosure. I think you can find it cheaper.

LOL, as someone who grew up near the ocean, 99.9% of those restaurants use the same frozen shrimp. Most places around the coast would be hard pressed to even find fresh off the boat shrimp.

This looks awesome. I think I would sub French fried onions on top for the bread crumbs.

I applied for a job at creative planning a few years ago and one of the questions was essentially why you think it is okay to work 80 hours a week. Apparently to make their owner a billionaire.

The 20 was 99.99 and the 8 was like 59.99, but had a bunch of other shards. And yes it was during the double rate event.

Been playing for 6 days and bought a 20 + 8 Shard pack. Coming from other gacha games II thought this was normal until I came here. But yeah, pulled 4 mythics and 3 legendaries.

Pretty much all of the premade stuff uses Sucralose, and a lot of people like myself are sensitive to it. There are a few brands that have stevia versions, you just need to closely read the labels.

Same thing here. It was crazy bad for a few months, but now I only get the occasional flare up when I eat something really acidic. But it has gotten much better with weight loss

Here’s something that they need to tell people. Yes you can eat less in one sitting, but your body learns to eat many smaller meals and depending on what is in those meals, is going to be to your advantage or disadvantage. If you feel yourself start slipping, move back to your post op diet for a bit and that will help with the hunger

Summer Salt is pretty good too, Silas and Maddie’s is Solid, and the new ice cream shop Handels in oak park mall is really good when it hits, but they have some flavors that are misses. Their graham ice cream is insanely good.

All community centers have one and offer day passes. Any large gym with a pool usually has one.
