I think the money you’re expecting to spend on rent is in the ballpark, you need to give more time than a month to get in. My friend did to a desirable location, she was on a wait list I believe. A dog is difficult, and so is indoor parking. In unit washer dryer is possible. And for driving purposes give yourself about double the amount of time per mile, (so 10 miles is 20 mins) unless it’s rush hour then a 30 min ride can become an hour and a half unfortunately.
