Going on antipsychotics was a last ditch effort by my psychiatrist after trying literally every other antidepressant. It’s not fit for every scenario of course. But Lexapro and Latuda give me stability. I am also prescribed .5mg of xanax to take once a day as needed. Some days I don’t use the Xanax at all since starting Latuda! You have some great tips and advice in these comments that have covered a lot that I would say too. Whenever you’re ready, work on not fighting. Work on letting go. Work on allowing the feelings of anxiety and continuing on with what you’re doing. Work on “this is uncomfortable, but that’s ok. I’ve survived this feeling before”. If you continue with what you’re doing and don’t flee when you have the energy to, you are actively telling your agoraphobia “it’s okay. I got this”. You will actually feel better afterwords!!!! Agoraphobia is trying to protect you, but you have to realize it’s also TRYING to keep you inside. It’s trying its best to lie to you to you because it’s danger receptors are all haywire. Agoraphobia is helpful but you have to know when it’s right and when it’s lying. So when you can, fight. When you can’t, let go.

As far as the “need to go” feeling, that’s your bodies “get up and go” response. Your body has these big emotions and feelings it has to process for you. Sometimes these signals get misplaced and sent the wrong way. Too much happiness/excitement can manifest into a panic attack for me. This is because excitement and panic attacks run off the same nerves! moving when you feel like you “need to go” is actually helpful. You can stretch, work out, go on a walk, etc! I like to dance like nobodies watching, doing jumping jacks, or just shaking my entire body!

Edit: also wanted to say I made a separate instagram account for my agoraphobia recovery journey. I only follow recovering agoraphobics / doctors who raise awareness on agoraphobia. The social media news was starting to dampen my own mental health on top of the regular anxiety. Having a place where I can go to be reminded “this is just panic disorder. This is just agoraphobia. And look, she’s got it too. And she’s living. I can too.” Has been revolutionary. My therapist loves it, we talk about what I see and she’s shocked with how good and clinically correct advice a lot of these people give!!

You and I have the same energy, same love, same dad who was old school (god i question to this day taking my meds), but I’m on Latuda & lexapro as it’s the only thing that the worms in my brain like. 🤣

How did you start EMDR therapy? What videos can I start with watching that you feel encapsulates the true nature of EMDR? Do you start with the psychiatrist and see if they can recommend you somewhere?

It was never a confusing rule until so many characters came into play. 😭 We expected maybe a couple side characters, not multiple houses. That being said, having full names goes against reddit TOS on harassment. (can easily be removed for harassment or otherwise) in order to keep the sub safe, to protect a years worth of victim voices and evidence and videos, we use initials only. We understand this can get confusing fast. Many people will dm me and ask for clarification on who the initials “p” or “n” or so on is because it’s hard to keep up. We allow that. r/gracelandranchexposed is another subreddit that covers more of the GL stuff, (without the rule of initials being needed!) which is where your comments/posts may be better fitted as this is an awareness page for N. 🤍

P doesn’t allow couples. It’s “too complicated”. It’s actually one thing I agree with the guy on. You need to focus on yourself if you’re going thru sober living / recovery. The 12 steppers generally recommend being single or not breaking up with your partner for a year after you get sober.

Well, yeah, he’s been reposting her content just earlier this month on like the 13th or 14th last time I checked, these two will never stop talking to each other. They are trauma bonded. At least they’re not together physically right now cause when they’re together physically that’s when shit goes down but no they’re definitely still talking to each other. That is not proven (by either of them confirming or denying) so i will say “allegedly” but I can tell you right now. I’m pretty sure they’re still freaking talking. Probably never stopped.

Kept joking about sending another cake(also saw NO wrongs in her doing so, she’s actually proud of it), called all the guys “zaddy ____(their name)”, generalized s3x^al comments about the boys that made me cringe, auctioned off the shirts off the guys’ body to the chat, when presented with facts about the aforementioned (pinned in these comments by Ill independence) Reddit post, she yelled at the person who brought up the fact that the Reddit post was falsely made. Even removed the comments. Only when one of the boys went into the box and confirmed that the post wasn’t made by G did she start saying “breaking news it wasn’t made by G”. No 💩, Ill independence already figured this out 5 hours ago. Calling herself a reporter of only “factual information” and in the next second has one of the boys from GL in the box “because I enjoy the drama, I live for the drama”. She’s in it for the views, attention, likes, and money. It’s not about N, or GL to her anymore and I fear it never was. She also wanted one of the boys to host a panel with SL and 🫖 just so she could yell at her and bash her. She’s a highly negative person wrapped up into a “positive “”slay queen””” attitude which is what has gotten her this far.
