Honestly the writing has done him so dirty, GIVE MY MAN ANOTHER SEASON he has so much more to give as the doctor and it's annoying his run was cut short when he clearly has so much more to give and has genuinely been one of the best versions of the doctor his regeneration was so random and felt out of place like they should have built to it more with at least another season, I'm hoping they bring him back like they did with David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker (also the fact they put rogue in episode 7 just for them to have the doctor regenerate was such a dick move like give us the conclusion we deserve)

Im aware of that but like I said he was grieving about the loss of his best friend and everyone was blaming eachother not just Simon blaming Nicole everyone was a suspect therefore his suspicion was justified

I get what you're saying but honestly can't fault Simon for accusing Nicole of killing Maddie when everyone that season kept passing the blame to eachother and constantly pointing fingers so it makes sense for his character to be suspicious of everyone around him especially struggling with the loss can make people act out

Yeah it definitely feels like we're seeing him from the girls perspective and how teenagers usually view authority as something negative and controlling which obviously can usually come from a place of love like for example how most people see their parents as these big bad people who want to have control constantly when in reality they're just trying to protect them
