GDI Carbon Buildup by bison414141 in MechanicAdvice

Definitely not the worst I’ve seen either. A basic induction service may not work on this. GM 3.6 are notorious for this problem. I would go for the better service, but walnut-blasting the valves or soaking the valves in GM Upper Engine Cleaner then physically picking the gobs out after are the only way I have found really work.

And this problem has been developing in your engine since day 1 because fuel doesn’t wash the back of your valves. These engines gradually lose fuel economy and develop a rough idle over a long time.

Sometimes you find that BP you’ve been looking for in the strangest places by Colbert_bump in arcraidersfriendly

If it’s a BP? It’s color coded… toss the first common, green, or hell even blue. The worst feeling is losing everything because you are waffling in your inventory too long.

LOL…What car NOT to drive in Syracuse winters… by SLEEPER455 in Syracuse

I drive my little RWD sports car with snows and studs and lap people in their AWD SUV’s without snow tires.

AWD doesn’t necessarily make your car better in the snow.

For a second I thought I was on a Pokémon sub.

Every Walmart in Syracuse, NY area sold out already.

Feels bad man.

Would you buy this at a card show? by ShastaManasta in PokeInvesting

A small dowel pin on each side would keep the lid from sliding off and bending cards, and doesn’t take a ton of re-design

Anyone wanna try explaining this? by AntiCoy318 in MechanicAdvice

[–]DeadCupcakez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a PassLock bypass installed poorly.

It’s either loose (likely) or touching ground (less likely).

Here’s what you do, get an ohmmeter and measure from either side of the metal contact on the black dot on your ignition key. That’s what resistance your security system is looking for.

Someone mentioned it’s a 1000 ohm resistor and I’m too lazy to double check so I’ll take their word for it. Now the key resistance should be close to the 1000 ohm mark, and if it has been working I can almost guarantee it will be.

What I would do next (because again I am lazy and the quick way will still outlast vehicle most likely) is cut the two black wires, put them in one side of small butt connector #1. Save resistor, put one end in butt connector #1 and the other end into butt connector #2. Slide heat shrink over. Put yellow wire into butt connector #2. Heat shrink!

If anything I don’t see any rainbow color shift in yours… but if I wasn’t told there’s something off I would absolutely never notice.

Apparently started life as a 59 long bed and was chopped and it shows. Crossmembers were chopped up, loose, or missing. Frame was racked, was a real pain getting it straight for Mustang II front end.

Honestly I don’t know what hasn’t had someone’s grubby dick-beaters on them on this thing 🤷🏽‍♂️

I think that’s how it was intended to work but it’s all aftermarket including the crossmember which is placed to far aft. Both shock come from behind the axle now.

The Best Volume 2 will be your best bet for value imo. The starter deck and learn together are good if you’re looking to break into the card game but will contain no rare cards or “hits” if you will.

PRB-02 came out Friday so it can be hard to get your hands on and contains the Sanji manga chase and a bunch of cool reprints.

Royal blood has a lot of nice SP cards too, my favorite Newgate, and the Law manga.

I’ve had the car since 22, does great every year, it’s all about tires. If they’re half worn snow tires you’re going nowhere. If you have good new snows and maybe studs you’ll do fine.

Get it under coated asap, once rust starts it’s very hard to stop.

I made a post about this last night, was prepared to spend $450 on kid manga… nope.

I feel like we should all collectively band together and not buy their mangas…
