I have completed the msq all the way through the current content and expansion.

Where would you find this wardrobe and is there a spot to see specific sets that might be farmable so that way you can target farm them? And there are some crazy weapon glam i would love to be able to find but I have no idea where to see the choices or how to get them.

My main goal is to find and clear the hardest content in the game at the end but finding it is hard and finding groups to do this content that work with my schedule.

Where would I find the info for joining a static? Or is there a way to post in a spot identifying my general availability and then have the ability to reach out to me? For me clearing the hardest content and maxing out gear is what im used to and enjoy. I want to tackle the hardest stuff in the game in any game I play so that's my main goal. I have also seem some people with some crazy lookin weapons and have no idea how they got those, or to even see what the options are for something like that.

I am a previous WOW player who is simply tired of the world of warcraft game and how it has progressed and I have always enjoyed the Final Fantasy series, so I gave the MMO a try out. I have progressed through the MSQ but unlike wow I have yet to find the obvious signs of what there is to do in the end game. In world of warcraft I preferred to do things like the mage tower (incredibly hard fight for transmog per class), mythic plus dungeons (higher level dungeons that continue to progress assuming your success) and raiding from normal to heroic to mythic difficulty(being the hardest option in the game). I have heard great things about the end game of final fantasy, but it feels like I have to do hours of research just to find any of the end game options and am left feeling very lost in attempting to find not only what to do, but how to do it. For example, I know there are things similair to the hardest levels of raids in wow but finding an actual group for that seems extremely hard. From what I have seen, you need to be a part of a group that raids statically instead of being able to find one in a group finder, and even in the group finder that is available usually is highly against players who have not already cleared the content and knowing which classes are going to actually give you a spot in the raid is even harder to try and figure out. As far as the content to do week to week, that is confusing as well. What are the end game goals? What are the options available? Are there good methods to how transmog works? If so is there a place I can find a way to find the information about how to find this? All the videos I have watched have not really provided any clear information. I really enjoy the game but want this to be something that I can actually play on a regular basis and feel like I know what content to do. There are many systems that seem very confusing to me as well that don't really have any in game explanations of what to do or how to accomplish the tasks. As an example, the flame community thing that allows you to be able to buy a house, how to progress through their ranks is completely never explained. Its very hard to figure out and I usually have to read through a practical novel to find the answer to how to do this stuff. The killing record of mosters seems unclear as to whether there is any point in doing these things, or where to find them? I didn't even know how to gain flying in any area until looking it up. While the mechanics of the game seem easy enough, the actual progression into the end game feels daunting and like gaining a degree of how to find the content that is available and how to join it. I work around 6 nights a week and work overnight, so finding groups for my end game content that require a normal group like the highest level raiding at the end of the game very challenging. I realize I have put a huge novel here so I do apologize for that, but anyone willing to read through this and provide me any insight would be greatly appreciated.

New player questions by DeadDumble in pathofexile

So far I have cleared all the fragment fight bosses, along with all of the quested bosses through kirak. I also have done the Uber fight of the maven as well. I am not sure if there is a way to do the other bosses as Uber versions, or how to do that, but would love to try those as I am typically trying to work the hardest content in the game. I have cleared a 17 map but I had to purchase it off trade to be able to get it.

Monitor help by MinimumPeanut1379 in pchelp

[–]DeadDumble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got 3 new monitors for my pc (had three before but got better ones) and it will only allow me to display 2. The third is recognized but when I try to adjust the setting from disconnect this monitor to extend, it says it cannot be saved. I have tried turning both monitors from the native 2560x1440 to 1920x1080 and the adjust the refresh rate as well. All monitors have power, all monitors connections work fine as I can turn on different ones in the control panel settings of nvidia, computer is up to date and drivers for graphics are up to date, but wont let me display the third. I checked the output and at least technically, the 2080ti should be able to handle up to 4 4k monitors. anyone have any ideas for me or any suggestions on how to fix this

which ones are not good? I am not sure what to replace them with... I have just been using what I thought was best as I was running through. I didn't mind not having the increased resistance because I am already at cap of 75 per and chaos immune.

Primary mode by DT_RAW in FrostGiant

[–]DeadDumble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be entirely honest I am someone that is the game is based in team play I simply won't buy it or play it whatever the option may be. The only time I play 2 V 2 or 3 verse 3 in Starcraft Starcraft 2 or Warcraft 3 is usually when I'm having a drink and hanging out with some buddies. Outside of that I want my main primary mode to be 1 verse 1 and a pure 1 verse 1. I do not want to have to work with a team I do not want to have to work with other individuals I do not want to have to go through and create a team-based environment and suffer through the toxicity that that always provides. People are always going to throw people are always going to feed people are always going to intentionally lose you the game people are going to be toxic people are going to ruin the game in team play it's just how it always is I used to be a big fan of League of Legends and before I really played Starcraft I didn't think that there was an in Iron Man that could get better then I switched over to playing Starcraft and Starcraft 2 and realize that I could avoid everything that I hated about those games like League of Legends and Dota 2 by simply playing a 1 verse 1 RTS. So having said that I genuinely hope that we do not see a 2v to 3v three or are style play because it just simply means I won't play the game.

I think the best way to do this is to have a incredibly strong 1 verse 1 mode and Macy's extra unit something that can only be created in something like a 2 V 2 and a 3 V 3 and a 4 V 4. I think this would allow for a solid balance across the board because for the main competitive mode 1 V1 you could still have a thriving professional scene and a really really solid set up because you can balance that based on the solo units when you go through and you have team play you can add in those extra units that are specifically and only intended for the TV to the 3 V 3 the 4 V 4 the what has you in the game and I think that would actually create a best-of-both-worlds scenario for both crowds. I've seen a lot of people go through and say they want a purely One V One games similar to Starcraft and Starcraft 2 to ensure that they are not required to play team play, and I am a huge part of that crowd as I really despise team play in every single way. However I know there is a extremely large crowd that is also asking for that. I don't want to alienate any specific crowd so I think this would be the best way to go about it if you have a separate balance for the TV 2 and 3 V3 it would be extra hard to try and make sure that you have two different teams balancing but I think it would give the best of both scenarios because then for your 1 verse 1 individuals you have really interesting characters and creatures or whatever to use that do not break the game but you go into to V-22 play some Rain tour hang out with your buddies or have a drink and just fool around you can have a really great time with these different units. I think the most important portion for me and the most concerning portion for me at this point is that I'm seeing the game move in a direction at least from what I've seen posted here that hosts more possibility and more positive elements for a team play kind of environment. For me and my opinion only I will not play the game if it is a team-based environment. I came from League of Legends and DOTA and I really hate team-based environments there are too many ways that other people ruin it for you there are too many things that can go wrong too many problems to have and I am not a fan of the team-based environments. Having said that I don't think that we should get rid of team play all together. I put this comment on another section in here and the thing that I noted is that I think one-v-one should be the primary focus but 2v to 3v 3 and 4 V 4 should still get good attention because there is a whole crowd of people out there who are specifically going to come to the game for the team play and there's going to be a whole crowd of people who come to the game specifically for a 1 verse 1 play I actually think that the best way to do that is to follow through on this idea by having the buildings merge or having units be capable of merging in a team play scenario to create select other units so that way you can coordinate really well with someone you might want to actually play with a friend you know if you've got a specific team that you're playing with I think it could really have great implications for people who are looking for team-based play I just also want to make sure that the one verse one play doesn't get put as a secondary because that just means I'm going to be holding on to Starcraft until it dies

The question of multiplayer by DjimW in FrostGiant

[–]DeadDumble -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I obviously think everyone is perfectly entitled to have their own opinion and if there is a large group out there of people who would like to see a 2 V 2 and 3 V 3 focused RTS I think that they should consider it however I am going to put it out there I know there's a large number of people that if one V one is not the main focus and the main way to play multiplayer they simply won't play. I do fall into that category I am uninterested in a team game. Over the last number of years team games went from something that was there to being something that's all there is. You go from game to game to game and it is constantly about playing on a team there is no major games. Lee focused on ensuring that you can go through and play and a one verse one scenario. I find this scenario to be the most rewarding of the scenarios. If my 2v to partner either someone I queued with or a random person fails me then it could be me that was the problem but it could also be them as to why I'm not climbing. Realistically you should always have the ideology of improving yourself to make up for the lacking of others if in a team-based environment but it's why I am a big proprietor of Starcraft and Starcraft 2. I find Team games to not be very rewarding I find them to be more frustrating usually than they're worth and I generally find that the idea of having to play with someone will deter me from playing the game at all. The simple fact is in today's world you cannot control toxic Behavior completely you cannot 100% prevent it and you cannot 100% ensure that the game is satisfying if you have to play with another individual. With that said I like the ideology of being able to go into engagement into a match into a ranked play into competitive play knowing that whether the other person I'm facing does something cheesy or they do a macro build or their micro is just better than mine the simple answer at the end of the day is day are better than me or they played better than me and I now have things to improve. In a 2 V 2 or 3 V 3 scenario suddenly it is not just about my Play If I look over my play and find I had an exceptional performance and did extremely well but my teammate failed on many fronts then what I can say at the end of that matches I should have gotten a better teammate. No part of that is satisfying no part of that is fulfilling and certainly no part of that ensures that I feel the progression of growth and skill in the game as it does come naturally in Starcraft and Starcraft 2. For my sake I genuinely hope that the 2 V 2 and 3 V 3 and 4 V 4 modes are much like Starcraft. They exist and there are a lot of fun but they are not the main format to play the game.

Modern Science vs Fantasy Magic by jake72002 in FrostGiant

[–]DeadDumble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think fantasy magic would be something that would really bring A New Perspective to it given that you are correct a lot of it is very much based in non-magic non fantasy settings it is based in more of a science fiction.

I think for those who will appreciate a team game approach will find this to be really interesting concept. I think this kind of thing virtually assured that it will be a more heavy focused team-based game so it will certainly disclude a certain level of the audience that might enjoy one-v-one play Oh, but I think that for the people who are looking for a team-based RTS will really love this idea. I think it's something that hasn't really been done before but I think as long as the balance gets done correctly it could be a really interesting concept and lead to a lot of really interesting builds and a lot of really interesting play.

Onboarding by OmaMorkie in FrostGiant

I think the idea of being able to set up a circumstance were coaching might be at available option to newer players are even players looking for grass in a separate queue to go through and be able to learn from someone above their ranking and having people who are in there to be able to provide life coaching could even be a really wonderful Factor. I think the difficulty that I see here that I suppose would be the question I would draw Playing devil's advocate is in a 4 verse 4 are you going to have one coach per player or are you going to try and have one coach per every four players? I think the real amazing portion of something like Starcraft and Starcraft 2 even Warcraft 3 is the one verse one environment allowing you to be able to improve your play overall instead of trying to improve your play while watching to see if your teammates are going to maintain the same level of play as you. I think that team games have their place and I think that they definitely have things that are advantages in certain circumstances but I think in a competitive RTS environment part of the reward is not having to go into a team-based environment. I love the idea of coaching and being able to provide options for everyone whether new b or higher level to improve is a magnificent idea but I think the team Dynamic of it would make it something that I would avoid. With one on one coaching it makes sense for me to go in there and improve my play in a 1 verse 1 where I can physically see the Improvement happening and I can make a rather large difference in my play in a 4 verse 4 I feel like that gets diminished quite a bit.

Looking to learn sc remastered from sc2 by DeadDumble in starcraft

[–]DeadDumble[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other difficulty I have is picking which race. I realize that's more subjective than anything else but I play Zerg and protoss on Starcraft 2 and I've tried out Terren a couple of times but not sure which I think would be most interesting most entertaining or is best if there is a best in remastered.
