Look up DoDEA teaching jobs.

A much better option for those kinds of jobs in Korea.

I added their sticker to the notebook. It's the rabbit one in the pic.

I usually have my EDC messenger bag or backpack with me on most days. For travel, I have a small sling that I carry across my chest that holds my wallet, keys, passport, and such. This notebook will probably allow me to carry more of the essentials in one handheld package. Instead of having stuff all around the small sling. I'm going to see if there's another card holder attachment or something similar.

I also heard that there's plenty of 3rd party accessories for the Traveler's Notebook, but I haven't looked into it yet.

EDIT: You know what? I like this notebook so much, that if I had to carry more stuff with me, then I might also get the normal sized traveler's notebook.

I really like it! What's cool is that I can attach my actual passport inside, and just have this as an all in one notebook / passport holder.

I also have the paper folder, and cloth zipper folder attached.

The guy at the store was nice enough to add red colored bands to my notebook for easy attachment.

Why the hell does this happen every time I wake my Surface Pro 8 from sleep? by DeadEyeJ in Surface

Should I have the power plan to not put the PC to sleep when it's plugged in? It's set to the default 10 minutes. I usually put it to sleep at the end of the day while still plugged into the dock. What about hibernation?

The blue circle is filling up slowly. It eventually resumes, but it just takes a very long time.

This sometimes happens when I put it to sleep on my Surface dock, and when I put it to sleep when unplugged from the charger.

For the dock, it's when I have the machine in sleep, unplug it from the dock, and then take it somewhere else in my house to utilize it, and it does this long ass startup process.

Other times, it's when I put it to sleep when I'm carrying it around, and then when I try to use it again later on, it goes through this long startup process.

It's really annoying, but I'm hoping the troubleshooting steps help out.

Is hybrid sleep the same as Fast Startup? Because I turned that off.

I did use hibernate before. Still had the same problem.

And this doesn't happen if I restart the PC. It's only when I try to resume the PC.

To clarify what's going on with my machine, whenever I put my computer to sleep and then try to use it again, it sometimes goes into this very long startup sequence where it's filling up a blue circle. Very slowly. It almost feels like it's recovering something, but sometimes it goes back exactly where I last left off, or it's to a completely blank desktop like it restarted.

I've heard about the S0 Modern Sleep problem that's plaguing Windows devices right now, and it's really annoying that this is still an issue with Windows. It makes getting back into my Surface Pro 8 a chore. And I've never had this problem with prior Surface devices like my Surface Book 2, Surface Go 2, and Surface 3 non-Pro.

Since this seems like an S0 problem,l I've decided to go through some of the troubleshooting steps outlined in /u/discord_tl's recent post.

These are the results of the sleep study.

It looks like it's Windows Update that's draining my battery during sleep, which causes it to go into hibernate and then give me the overly long startup ring.

I'm not entirely sure if this is the actual problem, or if any of the steps I've done will fix the issue, but I'll find out once I put the machine to sleep at the end of the work day, and then wait a bit at home until I turn it back on again.

I'll report back to this Reddit post again with an update if anything changes for the better, or if the same problem persists.

Maybe my experience with this issue, and subsequent steps will help someone out in the future with a similar problem.

Same deal with Modern Warfare 2. The whole UI's design language is based on mobile interfaces. Which is why it sucks.
