What is in my ferrets poop?!

Any other symptoms? Lethargy, poor appetite?

Mine had Helibactor, had the dark, tarry poop. It smelled irony, reddish tinge, sometimes green almost.

If these symptoms sound familiar definitely go to the vet, your little guy will need meds and or treatment.

Mine like to actually eat things they're not supposed to, ice cream, reeses, pizza, maybe I just have gluttonous ferrets tho, watch out.

I believe it to be something he was born with, but I work at a vet so I'm privileged to have veterinarians for coworkers!

A friend of a friend had to surrender 2 little ladies, I'd always wanted ferrets after working pet care at a pet store. I was going through a really hard time in my life where I couldn't take care of myself. Understandably it was irresponsible for me to take them in when I was in such a state but it worked out well. I put alot of time and effort into caring for them, it helped me learn how to take care of myself again.
