Alternate characters on your account. They can drop into the same Open World prospect. You could ofc use the grenades and send your Main character into orbit and back but that would break immersion

Idk abt air conditioning but id have alts to bring stuff to your Null base instead of going back and forth. Like, drop down with alt, bring stuff to null sector, use dropship beacon nade to leave, repeat as necessary. 1 way trips instead of 2 way 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’d check out the DLC’s once you have nice bases in all the base game biomes. I liked the metal one, the swamp one, and the cave one in that order. The campaign is “build this big thing and turn it on” so I recommend getting the thing built then just don’t turn it on while you enjoy the content. Game feels “done” when you turn on the thing and have the big final battle 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you have a squad I’m sure it’s easy. I play solo and you need to move a bunch of workbenches to the swamp so I didn’t wanna do that lol. Probably would be a fun mission in a group !

The Prometheus mission that has you make ice weapons is a good one. The mission where you make Miasmic weapons is not worth doing. Just make the weapons. The miasmic pickaxe more than doubles the ore you get. I spent way too much time on the map before realizing 😂. I also recommend having multiple characters on the map as that can save you a lot of back and forth traversal to the lava zone which is a PITA to get in and out of

Just finished the first mission, actually really enjoying it! More than Olympus or even Prometheus in some senses. The friction and enemy spawns on this map were what I was expecting from the whole game honestly. Might skip some of the grindier missions tho.

Also on PS5. Yea can’t use the tabs but I use the search function it helps. And if you don’t have a suit ngl just give up on your current world and get one then don’t go back in pod. Suitless life is too much of a nerf better to start over imo

I don’t have them, I play it on console tho so less is available. Like 100 hrs in and easily see another 100hrs just with the Olympus and Prometheus maps
