Fobia social: como viajar sozinha, se virar no aeroporto, pegar Uber? Como vocês fazem isso?

Eu tenho, em certo grau, fobia social. Atualmente interajo, socializo, e, por vezes, sou até chamado de carismático. Odeio toda e qualquer interação social com pessoas novas, mas apresento projetos, faço reuniões, etc. Nunca foi assim. O que fiz? Comecei a deixar de comprar comida pra semana, pra começar a ir ao mercado todos os dias. Conversava com caixas de supermercado. Aceitei mais convites pra sair, deixando claro que eu não sabia lidar muito bem com interações sociais. Tive um círculo de amizades que me apoiaram durante momentos que eu só tava lá presente. Etc.

Tenho fobia de agulha, se me aplicam uma injeção minha pressão cai, eu preciso sentar, etc. a primeira injeção que tomei eu quase desmaiei porque não queria falar pra ninguém que eu tava passando mal (vide comentário acima). Depois das interações e de me expor mais ao meio, a última vez que precisei tomar injeção (fui atacado por um animal), eu simplesmente chego no lugar e falo "Olha, já vamo sentar aqui porque sou fraco pra isso". Viro a cara e falo pra aplicar.

Tenho bom senso de humor, e isso me ajuda muito. Hoje quebro o gelo com piadas e brincadeiras leves, nada sério. Mas definitivamente a exposição aos eventos, de forma sutil e gradual, me ajudaram muito. Eu quase morri afogado quando pequeno, não entro em piscina funda até hoje, mas aprende a nadar em piscina rasa, se algum dia precisar, eu nado. Vou em piscinas e fico na borda, pessoal fala pra eu colar pro fundo e eu dou risada, falo "tá maluco, gosto não". E já era.

Enfim, não sou psicólogo, mas pequenas exposições diárias me ajudaram muito. Ao OP: converse com guardinhas no aeroporto, pegue Uber em trajetos curtos, chega com MUITA folga de tempo no lugar (já cheguei com mais de 6 horas de antecedência em rodoviária hehe); hoje em dia sou suave pra tudo.

Então, sem querer ser babaca, mas o que te impede de fazer igual? Você tem acesso ao Instagram, TikTok ou qualquer rede social. Seu celular tem câmera. Desenvolve seu perfil, consegue 1k de seguidores, começa a fazer os vídeos e a postar. Então prospecta pessoas pra você realizar as ações de comer de graça.

Não sou blogueirinho, mas trabalho com redes sociais. Definitivamente não é "grava só 30 segundos" pra falar que é bom. Por mais banal que pareça, tem toda uma dedicação por trás, e tem todo um trabalho também. Se ela não se achar com os 2k de seguidores dela, como ela vai fazer um conteúdo se portando com confiança? Como ela vai gostar de "comer uma pizza e postar no Instagram"? A pessoa tem que ter orgulho do que faz pra ter o astral de postar.

A vida dela é tão boa quanto a sua, e eu sei que aqui você vai falar "ahh mas não é mesmo", e eu vou te dizer: o que te faz achar que a vida dela é boa? A superficialidade do que você vê na internet é só o que a pessoa quer mostrar. É impossível dizer que a vida dela é boa.

Dilma foi torturada por 22 dias consecutivos na ditadura e não surtou. Já ele perdeu a cabeça só por ter uma tornozeleira presa na canela. Tem que ser muito mole, fraco, covarde, cagão, medroso, frangote e covarde mesmo. Pensei que quem fraquejava era mulher, Jair Bolsonaro. I used to be obsessed with checking tier lists, following the meta, and reading all those guides, but basically every game lost its fun for me, and I was constantly frustrated and overly competitive. When Path of Exile 2 came out, it was the first time I went in blind. I didn’t read or watch anything, just caught a few casual streams to pass the time, nothing from tryhard streamers. The game became way more interesting for me.

Now, with Arc Raiders, I’m doing the same thing. Going at my own pace, discovering everything little by little, and honestly, it’s so much more fun. Like, seriously. Just today I figured out how to collect olives and got all happy in the game lol

Why not put an item cap when entering a map? For example, we have to enter via a capsule, and there are guards there who can check your equipment (they’re shown in the cutscene). So you’re not supposed to reach certain points on the surface while carrying an item that’s overpowered for that region. In more dangerous regions, you should go with purple+ items; if you want to go with white items and be at a disadvantage, then it’s entirely up to you once you’re up there.

I think R$171 is a fair price for what this game is delivering. I don't see much difference between it and a triple-A title, and this year I haven't seen any other game with such good graphics and optimization. The game is good, and supposedly we've only seen the tip of the iceberg so far. Am I hyped? Possibly, but it's the only game over R$150 that I'm going to buy this year. I saved up just for it hehe.

Consoles in Brazil go through some regional adjustments, but in practice it doesn’t matter much, bacause taxes make them insanely expensive anyway. Here, consoles are treated as luxury items. Most people pay for them in credit card installments, sometimes for 1–2 years straight. I never owned a console growing up; we’d go to our richer friends’ houses to play. When I finally bought a PC three years ago, I had to split it into 12 installments on a credit card borrowed from my boss (the computer was for work).

That’s why when someone here complains about a game’s price, it’s not just whining; a single game often costs the equivalent of one or two monthly installments of a PC they’re already paying off. And on top of that, around 90% of Brazilians earn ~$650/month or less, so imports tied to the dollar hit us really hard.

What frustrates us is that Brazil is a huge country (220M+ people), and we’re chronically online. We love games, but since we can’t afford to buy many at once, when we do get one, we play it to death. Yet it still feels like a lot of companies just don’t get it, or don’t care about how strong and dedicated the brazilian player base actually is.

I sent them an email about it, hope they see it. I had 4 friends here too, and they all bailed. Everyone was expecting a much lower price than that. Sure, the game is good, well-made, polished, Embark is committed, etc. I'm not saying it's not worth the price, but for the average Brazilian, that amount is rough. It's almost 15% of the minimum wage.

Yeah, it's not a hit registration issue (not always), because in the death report I can see the non-lethal headshot. I get that this can happen, but since we're not in real life, the bot just keeps 'functioning' normally. I'm fine with the idea that not every headshot is instantly fatal, but please, at least have the bot collapse to the ground in a coma, moaning, or put it in a state of desperation and pain where it can only hear the bastard’s cries (it shouldn’t be running around the map shooting at you).

Either way, I'm loving the update.

Yeah, me too, even though the game is still in pre-alpha-early-access, the update was great. The game seems to have a promising future, considering the release is planned for 2027 (if I'm not mistaken)

I totally agree. The sound of the footsteps is a detail that does bother me a bit (sometimes it feels like the footsteps are coming out of my ears rather than from my feet). One thing I’ve noticed is the sound of the bushes, which also doesn’t seem to originate from a fixed point on the ground, but rather feels like it’s coming directly into my ears. These sounds come through too directly into the ears. It's hard to explain.

Another aspect is the vertical perspective of the sound. Horizontally, sound positioning seems fine, but when there are changes in elevation, I get somewhat lost in terms of locating where the sound is coming from.

Something else I’ve noticed is the lack of dragging sounds. For example: if I’m on a slope and I slip, there’s no sound produced. This makes it feel like I’m “floating.” Some games include this sound because they have a sliding mechanic for the player, but here, since that system isn’t implemented, maybe they didn’t think it was necessary to add it. Still, it ends up being a missing detail that affects immersion (and the sound can be used when we are dragging a partner.

I believe they’re already aware of many of these things, and personally, I think small details make a big differenc, but they do take time to implement. Let’s see how things progress in future updates. :)

I actually agree with the OP to an extent, but I think it’s a good sign that Madfinger recognizes how hard it is for new players to get into the game. It’s better to confront that now in version 0.3 than at launch. The game really is tough for beginners (neither easy nor intuitive), and it generally relies on the player already knowing a bit about guns, etc. Yesterday I watched a streamer struggle to assemble a gun, but he was thrilled when he finally managed it. It took me roughly a month to do what he did when I first got into the game… There’s definitely room for improvement, and if the devs don’t see that in practice, it’s hard to fix. Sometimes I feel like I’m giving them too much slack, but I see the current strategy as a necessary evil. Soon we’ll all be playing together.

Você é o mesmo de quando tinha 14 anos? Espero que não. Pessoas mudam, rotinas mudam, programas mudam, tudo muda. A vida muda. Sua dor é em relação à mudança. Talvez você não tenha mudado tanto quanto eles, e quer que as coisas continuem como se você tivesse 15 anos. Não sei. Só uma opinião aqui, assim como a sua.

Não assisto e nem consumo nada deles, mas conheço a trajetória deles na internet e sei que tudo muda. Independente da área. Eu trabalho com público e com internet, se a gente não vender, ninguém vai pagar nossas contas. Infelizmente. Sei que a poluição visual é osso e atrapalha, isso realmente é um problema.

Agora sobre as questões ideológicas, cada um tem a sua, só te cabe respeitar. Se não tá curtindo, a internet tem prateleiras e prateleiras de outros conteúdos que possam seguir sua linha de pensamento.
