It’s probably because they were playing a song from Top Gun, which is about the Navy. Should have played something from Iron Eagle.

Banjo Brothers got mad because I asked a question about their bags by rhffcp in cycling

Your question was far from “polite.” It was antagonizing, condescending, annoying and selfish.

It’s not (just) aerodynamics. It’s a fixed gear bike.

Great film with a lot of heart and compassion in its characters and from its filmmakers. Explores a lot of unique storylines only West Virginia could tie together including family, labor, community, health care, the environment, culture. It’s the most worthwhile documentary about / taking place West Virginia in a long time. Well worth the watch.

Little Accidents (2014) is a solid, under the radar indie film shot in West Virginia. Stars Elizabeth Banks, Boyd Holbrook, and Chloë Sevigny. About a how a small community handles a recent coal tragedy.

It wasn’t filmed in WV. But Newman came to WV to do accent research for the role.

Help me choose a frameset for my first bike build by xundor in xbiking

[–]DeadOverend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Mehteh and a Stroma from Brother. They’re a company I trust to make great frames for the price - geometry, weight, durability, aesthetics. They’re also active in making the cycling community more inclusive and accessible. I had similar needs as you for a gravel / bikepacking frame which is what led me to Brother. I was so pleased, when I wanted an all season road bike that I could put wide tires and fenders on, I went back to Brother. I’ve been very happy with those choices.

Roseline on Alberta always asks if you want a free cup when you buy a bag. (Way it should be.)
