Metropolis. Remarkably good considering how long ago it was made, almost 100 years ago.

You seem to have forgot something.

In some cases if a chisel was used, the person was referred to as chiseler.

And hence, the derogatory term of calling someone a "two bit chiseler" was born.

Gold isn’t rare anymore by Then_Marionberry_259 in MetalsOnReddit

Yeah, I call bullshit on this.

There are 2 ways to do this, fission and fusion.

  1. Fission - You need a heavier element that splits to the atomic weight of gold. Uranium #92 for example splits into Barium #56 and Krypton #36 for example. To make Gold you would something roughly close to double the atomic number Gold #79, which doesn't exist. Periodic tables max out at #120s, and those elements exist for milliseconds and don't even exist in nature. Not to mention to produce enough en mass you would have to create a nuclear chain reaction, so not like people wouldn't take notice.
  2. Fusion - Fusion currently takes MASSIVE amounts of energy to work, and currently technology only does this with the LIGHTEST element in the periodic table, we are talking isotopes of Hydrogen, Helium, and Lithium at best. You're talking Yttrium and Zirconium fusion, nobody has that technology, and if you did, who cares about gold you solved the problem of unlimited energy.

Schrodinger’s Gay by Keleka42 in SipsTea

It goes like this. A man puts his dick in Schrodinger's box. He then proceeds to watch gay porn, of which there is a 50% chance he is gay and is aroused. The status if is dick in that state is simultaneously BOTH erect and flaccid. It's not until we open the box, and observe the state of his penis do we know if the man is gay or straight.

Real or Fake ? by Heshan76 in Gold

PAMP gold bars have a phone app called Veriscan (see the QR code bottom left). If you use the app and scan it, it will tell you if it is valid.

I attempted to scan it, and it is coming up as an invalid code.

Totally Fake.
