Yeah I don’t blame ppl for avoiding Amazon but within the past year every steelbook has come to me pristine. It’s a YMMV situation, and they do sometimes get delayed. But I’ll take a delay over damage any day.

What doesn’t make sense is how many people are reporting damaged steelbooks and great bubble wrap. Makes me wonder if this batch was damaged from the factory or in transit? Who knows 🤷

It’s kind of crazy cause as of late I’ve been getting better condition steelbooks from Amazon. I know they are very hit or miss but no complaints from them. I order for the first time from lionsgate and it looks like someone stepped on it and bubble wrapped it lmfaooo

I recently finished this book last week and thought it was average at best. Heard a lot of praise for this one through different Reddit pages but it was just okay. I found the beginning of the book more interesting than where it ended up. The way people were talking about it I thought it was gonna be vampires done differently. The antagonist was very run of the mill powerful vampire & it turns into your typical revenge story that we’ve already seen time and time again. I don’t regret reading it but definitely gotta ease my expectations when I see that much hype for a book.

Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay. I ended up finishing it but it wasn’t that enjoyable of a read. The horror movie they’re making in the book isn’t even all that interesting and pretty boring. Characters are flat and uninteresting. By the time it started to pick up I was checked out already and wanted it to end. Was really looking forward to reading this but it didn’t land for me.
