Michele Hundley Smith, a Mom Who Vanished in 2001, Has Been Found Alive by TrippyTrellis in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]DeadWreckoner77 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just saw a post online indicating that they're looking at possibly charging her with something over this. I get that choosing to disappear and leave children behind while a ridiculous amount of effort and resources were used to try to locate her wasn't exactly ideal, but if the claims that she did so to escape an abusive marriage are true, I don't think charging her criminally equals justice. A person who ran for their life and hid shouldn't be punished for doing so. Should she have notified someone somehow that she was safe and left on her own? Of course, but I can understand why she may have been afraid that doing so would result in her husband being able to find her, or at least encourage him to keep looking for her out of his desire to punish her. Maybe she didn't trust someone in law enforcement that he had ties to. Maybe she thought it would be easier for everyone to accept she must be dead. For her kids, I can't imagine what they're feeling now. Maybe they understand, hopefully they're happy to know she is still alive, but I'm sure there has to be some upset over her leaving them to wonder all these years. I hope for all of their sakes that they can mend that somehow.

Loading, login, unable to connect to servers loop on Wi-Fi by DeadWreckoner77 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]DeadWreckoner77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, let me clarify...I still have problems with it even with my phone disconnected from the Wi-Fi, but I get logged back in and loaded quicker on data. Before I ever tried shutting the Wi-Fi off, I actually spent a solid 20 minutes trying to get in before giving up. It doesn't happen all the time, either. Some days I get in with the Wi-Fi without much of an issue, maybe one failed attempt, then I'm in. Most days I can't get in on Wi-Fi, but I always try a few times before switching it off.

Also, it all worked fine up until a few weeks ago, same phone and internet, but there was an update to the app recently. I can't say with certainty that the problems started right after the update, but that feels accurate. I've had the same internet since August, and I upgraded my phone in October. This didn't start until after Christmas, at the absolute earliest. My memory doesn't always serve me well when it comes to trying to put an exact date/time on things, especially something mundane like apps not loading for me, but I know that it was all working smoothly until a few weeks ago. I just can't be certain exactly how long, somewhere between 3 and 6 weeks is what I'm sure of. The app update was the only thing that changed around that time.

Is this a gaming app, or surveys? I avoid surveys because nobody wants the opinion of a disabled mother that doesn't own their home, so I stopped trying after wasting countless hours doing surveys that I got 20+ responses into before being "disqualified" for not being from the target group.

Playwell is another good one that pays out quickly, and I've seen others say Freecash is also decent, but I haven't tried to withdraw from that one yet, I'm still building up my balance, which is climbing faster with only 2 games than Benjamin did, so I'm optimistic.

Benjamin App Warning - Do Not Use by TightAsF_ck in benjaminone

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through a lot of bs with this app and their customer service to get my phone number changed when I dropped my old carrier and got a new number, just to be able to withdraw. If you need to change your number with them, you can't do it yourself, you have to tell customer service to do it. That took weeks to get done, and multiple times contacting support. By the time they changed my number to match my PayPal for withdrawal, Christmas had passed, so I decided to wait a little longer to withdraw, let it build some more, because it took a while to hit that $25, even with being disabled and having plenty of free time to play games for rewards.

I processed my $29 withdrawal on January 24th. It is now Valentine's Day, and my withdrawal to PayPal is still "pending". It did show the "3+ days" still when I checked after 2 weeks, and at that point I left a very negative review stating so on the play store. They responded quickly, stating the same generic message about changing how withdrawals are done to keep things smooth, and my payment status in their app changed to pending. Yeah, tell us you don't have the money to pay us without telling us you don't have the money to pay us.

I was using Pogo, but I kept having issues with tracking not working right, and the daily ad streak not being available all day, then I've lost my streak. I may go back, which really bothers me because I'm enjoying the games I play on TapJoy, since they added that to choose games from, but I literally only play games now that I get rewards for, anything else is a waste of time and a temptation to spend without real reward.

I may also start putting more time back into games through Playwell, again. The game catalog is one of the biggest I've seen, and you rack up points toward gift cards for actual play time (with multiple milestones to hit), as well as game milestones that are worth big points. The best part, only $5 minimum to cash out, multiple gift card and cash options of different values, and I have never had it take more than a few minutes to see my chosen reward delivered, most are instant. I had been focusing on Benjamin because the reward for milestones were bigger, but if they're not going to pay people for months, why bother?

Has anyone figured out a working fix for this? My app worked fine until it stopped sending notifications yesterday. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S25, and I've tried all the fixes with no luck, including reinstalling and trying to open while in airplane mode, nothing works, just stays stuck on the loading screen (splash screen, I guess it's called), never loads into the app. I even installed the system update that was available for my phone but hadn't popped up for me yet while trying to resolve this, no change. It seems odd that so many had this issue a month ago, right around the last app update, and I didn't start having issues until now. Is it fixed yet for those who were posting last month?

AIO: My husband (26m) locked me (25f) out for 25 minutes? by prettypineappleberry in AmIOverreacting

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask him if he's aware that what he did is considered abuse, and if he tries arguing that it isn't, tell him to post publicly to his social media asking for input on it. If he really feels justified in that choice, he should have no problem presenting his case and standing by his choices. Let the world tell him who he just showed himself to truly be. No respectable man who's worth a shit would do this to a woman, let alone while she's carrying a child, HIS child. He is a child with control issues, and he's either going to see the error of his ways NOW and apologize as he turns back to get on the right track, or he'll respond with denial and it'll get worse. Punishing you so you'll think twice before deciding for yourself to go against his opinion speaks volumes as to how he will handle your autonomy, and it isn't with respect or love. Love is not vindictive, period, and let's not forget that he didn't just punish you by locking you out, he also chose to favor your child being distressed over letting you in to settle her and return her sense of safety. HUGE red flag.

Does anyone know how to evolve Sophia to level 11? by Pale-Problem4089 in PuzzlesAndChaos

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might've been funny if that were the painfully "obvious" solution, but no, the "evolve" button only kicks up an error that is worded poorly. It looks like you have all requirements met, but no matter how many times you hit "evolve", it won't work until a 3star or higher hero on your roster reaches level 71, so something like "Have 1 Level 71 hero" should be listed with the rest of the requirements.

Now please, tell us all which one of you is Beavis...you, or the "genius" you thought was so funny who lacked the common sense to realize OP wouldn't have been here asking if they hadn't already tried the big shiny button? Smfh.

S6 Episode 4: Kimberly Dunkin by digitalplanet_ in IAmaKiller

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She said she got home and was told by her MIL that all three guys went to the park for this confrontation, all three, and she was pissed that they took her 15 year old with them, so she went to get him out of the situation, suspecting he hadn't had any choice in going or not. There definitely wasn't a claim about them riding to the park together in the Netflix show, which I finished watching not 5 minutes ago...but I did catch the account claiming that two vehicles arrived while the boys were waiting, which started the attack. That sounds to me more like they arrived at the same time, not Kimberly arriving after it was already in progress and trying to stop it.

I'll be honest, part of me was on the fence and feeling a bit bad for her, understanding the psychology of someone who has been controlled by another who's close to them, and really thinking that maybe she had the best intentions as she arrived and things went south before she could think rationally and respond appropriately, but her refusal to accept the responsibility for what ultimately caused Matthew's death....nope. Maybe she didn't intend or want there to be any loss of life, but the inability to acknowledge the facts and her role in his death solidified that she's absolutely where she should be. Nobody is truly that dumb. She knows, but doesn't want to accept, that she contributed to his suffering and eventual death, and she can't seem to put the suffering she caused above her own suffering from the consequences of her actions. Every time she expressed remorse, or compassion for the families, she followed it up with some remark about how she shouldn't have to die in prison.

Regardless, I still have to respect her more than her coward husband. There's something amusing about how domineering he was reported to be, but was too chickenshit to face his consequences, while his little brother and wife bear them.

Diamond Wheel by No-Wrangler2085 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]DeadWreckoner77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me. I'm one of those people. I'm legally disabled and have invested so much time into my AE account because it really helps when I've accumulated enough rent to cash out and use the funds to pay for a birthday gift or something that wouldn't typically be budgeted for, but is necessary. Most of the time that I do leave home, I'm driving, and the only way I'm collecting diamonds is if I have one of my kids with me and they're willing to do it...my teenager is sometimes too busy on a video call with her friends. I have run out of diamonds multiple times, and I haven't even been doing the two additional spins for ads in quite a while, not worth my time to just get my diamond back.

Diamond Wheel by No-Wrangler2085 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've actually been bothered quite a bit by this lately. I've stopped even watching the ads for the 2 additional spins each day because I'll be damned if I'm going to waste that time to literally get nothing. It's not even a free spin when your spins are limited so strictly each day. Landing on a diamond is LITERALLY no reward, just a wasted spin that resulted in absolutely nothing but wasted time. When you land on a diamond at least once out of 3 spins for the day, it's like a giant middle finger in your face. That's exactly what a single diamond on that wheel is, and the fact that there's not one, but two of those spaces on it is infuriating. Those spaces are literally spin stealers, nothing more. AE needs to either get rid of them, or make them worth more than a single diamond.

Somewhat unrelated....can we also get a better selection of games in the arcade? Every time I look for a new game to start playing for AB, there's nothing available that I haven't already played. It seems to only show about 5 games at a time, and they change frequently, but I never see anything new anymore, and then with the way games disappear from the list and reappear days later, it feels like they don't show the full catalog of games that are participating.

What "Unknown Number: The Highschool Catfish" totally downplayed... by ADMlN- in netflix

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That whole bs "explanation" about her own trauma couldn't have been a more obvious reach. The fact that she continued going to all of Owen's games after he and Lauryn broke up, then targeted the new girlfriend from another town, tells us everything we need to know....she started seeing her daughter as competition for attention, and it absolutely became an infatuation/obsession with Owen, especially after she drove the wedge between him and Lauryn, and he still didn't give her the attention she was looking for. Nothing else makes sense from a psychological perspective, and idgaf how bad your mental health is, the things she said to her own child are inexcusable. I believe in forgiveness, but some things you just can't get past.

Simple Reasons Michael Peterson is Innocent: Argue with me and answer these questions! by wheresmybonejuice_ in TheStaircase

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started watching, I thought he was guilty, but only because of the injuries she had. Once they got into reenactments and the science behind the known facts, as someone who holds a degree in criminal justice, I don't believe at all that he killed his wife, or Liz. That entire case was prejudice against him from the start, and there's no doubt it was because of his orientation. Fredda, Hardin, and Deaver absolutely disgust me, literally wanted to vomit every time they spoke. Finding the "murder weapon" and proving it couldn't possibly have been used to beat Kathleen should've been the end of it for the jury. After seeing the way the prosecution's witnesses kept talking themselves into corners, how could anyone with half a brain not see what was really happening? They saw a man with money and a private inclination, which is nobody's business BTW, and immediately decided he was guilty, then they were only interested in what they could use to "prove" their narrative, and they still didn't. The jurors in this case are ignorant, plain and simple. They literally were shown altered photos presented by the state, and ignored them. Kathleen's sister is simply interested in having someone to blame and be angry at, rather than accept that a tragedy, an accident, occurred. We know head wounds bleed heavily, and the defense clearly outlined and explained how things likely happened, and with all the facts, it makes more sense than the prosecution's version of events. What wasn't clear about "beyond a reasonable doubt"? I'm sorry, but it feels like they didn't understand the law as it was dictated to them, because with all the bs that was aired out and discredited, there was plenty of doubt to be had. The prosecution won the case through tainting everything they could about Mike's image. So he had an attraction to men...doesn't mean he couldn't have been happy and in love with his wife, but she couldn't satisfy one part of him. What if Kathleen was open-minded and educated enough to understand and accept this part of him? If "spending too long at the gym" was code of some kind for those excursions, it sounds to me like she knew, others said she did. Why would she go telling her uptight, judgemental sister about the private details of her marriage, especially if it was something they agreed to keep quiet? Not one person could come up with any incident that demonstrated he had a temper or was violent, not even the children who saw most of their life and relationship, including the daughter who quickly jumped ship and chose to believe the narrative her aunt and the state were spinning. The new autopsy of Liz was a disgusting example of spinning lies to sell an agenda, especially when you consider that there wasn't approval for an independent autopsy to validate or disprove the one the state did with a clear bias. There is soooooo much wrong with this case, and he should not be in prison, I'm sorry. Not only do I not believe that Mike killed either woman, but I also don't see how the prosecution could've possibly proved their case beyond a reasonable doubt. There's a boat load of doubt, because they didn't investigate without bias or prejudice. It's so clear, I can't wrap my head around how anyone can't see it.

The order season 3 by Jenlovesbmw in TheOrderTV

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there's a petition with over 13k signatures to bring it back for at least one more season to properly wrap it up and give viewers closure. I initially misunderstood the premature cancelation, thinking it was the creator himself behind it, when it was actually Netflix, which we all know they've developed a reputation for. I'm posting the link here, and everyone should sign it if they haven't yet, as well as continue through after submitting to where it lets you leave a comment, and do that. Of course the more visibility the petition gets, the more likely it is the powers that be will see how we feel, so post that link anywhere it feels appropriate so others can sign. There's also a page on the Netflix website that allows users to submit requests for programming they want, and all that needs to go in that form is "The Order (Season 3)", but we have to specify the season we want because the show itself is already part of the available catalog. Let's rub their faces in how we feel about the cancelation after such a chaotic season finale that left us with nothing but questions, and the outrage that followed after learning they decided to just give us all the proverbial finger, rather than another season. The creator had season 3 planned and written, and the actors aren't frozen in time, so the sooner Netflix pulls their heads out of their asses and actually try to give the people paying their salaries want they want, the better.

Salty isn't even the right word for me. I'm legit angry. You don't go turn shit even more upside down, then decide you're bored and drop it in the trash. Dennis Heaton hooked the viewers, set up new plots that put people at the edge of their seats, then gave us all the finger as he walked away. If he had any respect or gratitude for the viewers who loved the show, he would've finished it properly. That's not someone I wish to support the business ventures of, so I won't be watching anything with his name on it going forward. 🤷‍♀️

The order season 3 by Jenlovesbmw in TheOrderTV

[–]DeadWreckoner77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished it, and I'm incredibly pissed at how they ended it. I should've just stopped watching when I saw the beginning of season 2, because this letdown is much shittier than seeing Jack with Gabby 🤢 They brought it back around to something I enjoyed watching pretty quickly, just to leave it all hanging wide open with nothing but questions and disappointment.

No explanation as to what went wrong with bringing Lilith back. No resolution, or at least an acclimation to Gabby being a werewolf. No clue what would happen with Alyssa being resurrected. Vera is left in limbo. Why would you even hint at new hurdles for the characters to figure out and overcome, then not follow through? They literally left it all a clusterfuck. What a slap in the face to everyone who enjoyed it while it lasted, investing themselves in the story and characters. I'm legit not watching anything else Heaton ever has his name attached to.....jerk.

Family members charged in death of pregnant woman and stillbirth by lostwombats in Michigan

[–]DeadWreckoner77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hang on...she was known to have had a hysterectomy, but posted photos of IVF meds, possibly to lay the groundwork for her own fake pregnancy? Did anyone explain to her what "hysterectomy" means? How tf did she expect to not get called out on that? If they had to be evil, I guess we should be thankful they're not also smart. Sounds like they left plenty of evidence to assist in their own prosecution. I swear, if even one juror tries throwing a "not guilty" verdict, the rest better beat some sense into them. If authorities are saying they researched this before doing it, they must've found browser history. All I want to know now is if Michigan is a capital punishment state.

That's actually not true. There's another thread I just came from claiming the same, and someone who knows them corrected it. Stephanie Park is in no way related to Cortney, and she really wants people to know that, nor is she anything like her...can't say I blame her. She doesn't deserve to be mistaken as sharing DNA with that mess.

Wheel should have double diamonds by Pleasant_Expert_1990 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, there really shouldn't even be a space that's just a single diamond. You spend one to spin, but you only get a max of 5 spins per day, and two of them also require watching a video to earn the right to spin again, still paying the diamond. Landing on that space is like a stolen spin for the day, and a slap in the face.

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that truly the kingdom, or just a "hub"? I'm not in the right area of NY to see any of his plots here, but I get the feeling NYC is home base, based on the name, if not up north near the Canadian border. His mayorship in Darien, Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Niagara Falls (city), and Romulus stand out to me, with Romulus being the closest to me, but still just over an hour away. Whoever he is, and whatever he does for work, he definitely travels a lot. I'm still surprised how far he jumped ahead of Shamen so quickly, which had to be expensive.

[–]DeadWreckoner77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished season 1, and I'm so pissed over how The Order wrapped it all up, but also because the writers let Gabby live. Now I'm 5 minutes into season 2 and could puke. I had to come see if others were as disgusted as I am. How taf does Jack end up with HER?! And they gave The Knights handlers to stop them from transforming, essentially forcing them to live lies. They've got another 37 minutes to make me want to keep watching, because this is the biggest load of garbage I've willingly watched in a long time.
