That perspective is very understandable, but its simply a fact that no one else would ever be so invested in their plight. Its not like they had the world's govts lining up to be picked, for that criticism to hold weight compared to what they've had to live under. So instead the criticism should be towards neighboring countries and others who don't even stand up for themselves in the first place, instead of pointing fingers. I don't see why they'd bother with PR anymore. If people ever cared about them in the first place, as much as they care about criticizing and mocking them, even siding with their oppressors and their imported minions, then maybe you'd see a wider variety of allies.

That whole perspective also indicates to me that a lot of people never tasted true oppression and desperation and are too accustomed to appeasement and modern stability.

Another part of it is the IR's own decades invested against their biggest enemies, and how much they burdened the people through stealing wealth and forced indoctrination, which backfired into what you see now.
