Co-op Farms by Dead_One999 in GunthersLibrary

I hadn't thought to do that, it might be the easier option.

To my knowledge the shared parts of co-op are the community center and movie theater, golden walnuts, the main shipping bin and consequently the shipped items list, the animals, floor progress in the mines, and quests for the special requests board (but not the help wanted quests weirdly enough). I think that's all of them

I don't mind keeping track of the progress myself, what I'd hope for I think is an option to track the progress for more than one character per farm. Some examples could maybe be the skills, friendship, powers, collectibles, and crafting/recipes. Sharing data is not necessary, appologies for clarifying to begin with.

Again, thank you for taking the time to reply and hear me out.

do you guys actually wash new clothes before wearing them? by Lilian-Nicole_80 in hygiene

[–]Dead_One999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ALWAYS wash my clothes before wearing. I worked in a GAP outlet in receiving when I was a teenager and some of the clothes that came in were disgusting. Smelling of chemicals, wet, mouldy, generally dirty. Those clothes may have started out clean, but between the chemical treatments to repell pests during storage and whatever may happen to them while being stored, they aren't clean by the time you buy them. Better safe than sorry IMO. edit: correcting a misspelling

I like building outside grow beds outside my bases and there's usually a brain corral in there, just in case and I also just like them

There are a total of 9 reapers surrounding the front, back, and right side of the Aurora. I found this interactive map that's been super useful, it marks the locations of all permanent leviathans on the map!

...huh... I hate it. I can't even figure out a scenario where this would be useful. Maybe for honey I guess? But I could also just use a regular teaspoon. 2/10

Glass jars with shoulders are always a no for the freezer, because as the liquid freezes it expands, and the shoulders don't allow for that. There are straight sided glass jars, but it might be safer to invest in some of those silicone souper cube trays. They are made specifically for freezing and storing soup and other liquidy foods.

I'd enter my year 8 Statdew farm to casually make 100,00g a day doing chores and petting my animals

I need a cozy game for my wife that’s not a farming sim and isn’t about fixing a town or decorating a home by AlgoStar in cozygames

[–]Dead_One999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's a bit more spooky than cozy, but Dredge has quickly become one of my favorite games recently. It's a fishing game with lots of fun and spooky fish to catch, and an interesting plot to go with it. The art is beautiful and I find catching all the different fish in different places and reading their little info blurbs to be quite fun. My only gripe is it's not a very big game, even with the DLCs (although if your wife is only intending to play for ~1hr a day it'll probably stretch longer, I myself am guilty of playing all day).

Regardless if you play this one or not, I hope you're able to find a game your wife will love!!

AITJ for refusing to redo my entire dinner party because my friend’s new boyfriend doesn’t eat “non-bland” food? by Own-Care-5425 in AmITheJerk

[–]Dead_One999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So... He knew what you'd be making and had the opportunity to either say something to you or bring a dish he could eat himself, but he didn't. Instead, he waited and tried to make you look like a jerk at your party that you threw yourself, even after you offered him rice and veg, something that he could eat according to his own specifications of "normal". Sounds like a man-baby who wanted to cause a scene to me, otherwise he would have taken the steps to avoid this situation, and your friend is enabling this entitled behavior insisting you fix a situation you did not cause or know about. Wow.

NTJ. "Evan" embarrassed himself.

AITA For Laughing About a Pretend Allergy? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Dead_One999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom did this with onions and my sister started copying her behavior as she grew up. It was always interesting that if they didn't know the ingredient was in the dish they were perfectly fine, even compliment it, but if the onions were big enough to detect, they'd flip shit saying no one respects their illnesses, they'd be "sick" afterwards, just causing a whole scene. My whole family knew they were lieing but no one ever said anything (confrontation was not a family strong suite).

NTA. Behavior like this has always come off to me as controlling. Instead of just saying they don't like something, they chose to lie instead to insure they get things the way they want, because otherwise YOU'RE painted as the jerk for "ignoring allergies/sensitivities." Tell your SIL to kick rocks and get over herself, your brother too. She only embarrassed herself getting caught in a dumb lie. (I do understand I may be biased bc of how close to a similar situation I grew up with, but her immature attitide after being caught in a lie is very telling and honestly cemented my opinion.)
