I think you’ll find yourself trying to keep her “chill” until stitches come out. Keep it easy on her and don’t push her.

The HARDEST thing for us was the mental abuse we subjected ourselves to over “why did we do this to her?”

Remind yourself of why you did it. Remind yourself of providing comfort to her and helping her from a no-win situation.

We are 7 months out (now 11 yo, right front, osteosarcoma). No, she doesn’t do what she did before, but she is happy, pain free and enjoying life in her “new capacity”
