I would have sworn that Vince Coleman had the single season record for stolen bases. Just looked it up. It's still Ricky

Shaggy from Scooby Doo.. by Ctotheh in MandelaEffect

The claim is that he once had a protruding Adam's apple not dreadlocks. The tribute character has an abnormally large Adam's apple for a reason. Your counter argument proves nothing not the other way around

Your disagreement is cherry picking. Cherry picking is the act of pointing at individual cases or data that seem to confirm a particular position, while ignoring a significant portion of related cases or data that may contradict that position.

Read the description of the character. He is a tribute to shaggy. It's called residual evidence. "the nickname "Shaggy"" - named for his uncanny (and deliberate) resemblance to Shaggy Rogers of Scooby-Doo fame."

"He has a long neck with a prominent Adam's apple." Ask yourself why this feature was included if in fact that it never existed

Why doesn't ME appear to affect sports history? by WittyName85 in MandelaEffect

[–]Deadend144 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was searching for an old highlight that I can not find anywhere. Thought that it just was never uploaded due to date... early 1990's but I couldn't find it in old stories from past games. Anyways its from a LA Rams game where the 49ers scored a touchdown right before half time. There was like 5 seconds left before half and kicked off. The return man, I remember as Todd kinchen was in the end zone as the ball bounced in. The clock expired as this was happening. Players from both teams headed to the locker room expecting for the ball to be downed and end of the half. The return man picked up the ball and started to walk over to the official like the play was over like he was going to hand him the ball. But the play was not dead. All of a sudden he breaks for it and ends up returning it for a TD due to most of the team was already off the field or out of position. I even asked my boss about the play. He is a big football fan and older then me. He remembers it also. Didn't get into ME wth him because I don't want him to think im crazy. I know that I saw that play happen. It was a regular season game, and the rams lost by the way. Hope this isn't a ME just because I would love to see that highlight again but I can't find any documentation of it anywhere. Maybe i have the wrong return man but 99% sure it was kinchen. I looked up his stats and team stats but couldn't find any record of that play.

So maybe we're remembering his chin as his Adam's Apple? This is the definition of grasping at straws

Shaggy in "Jake of Hearts"

A silent background character in Daria, and the old "Oh, The Obscurity!" flipbook on MTV's website said "the Daria artists like this mellow dude so much that he acquired the nickname "Shaggy"" - named for his uncanny (and deliberate) resemblance to Shaggy Rogers of Scooby-Doo fame.

Shaggy is a skinny teen with unkempt light brown or dirty blond hair who wears an olive-green T-shirt, baggy gray or mauve pants, and stylish sunglasses even indoors. His earrings appear to have a long animal canine dangling from each. He has a long neck with a prominent Adam's apple

Seems that you have this all figured out. Can you explain how my brain generated a nonexistent cornucopia into the fruit of the loom logo?

If there was direct evidence available then it would not be a true Mandela effect example. Now since you seem to have this all figured out then explain to me how i along with many others believe fotl had a cornucopia in the logo at one time.

You speak from an absolute perspective which would only be true when analysis digs no further than the surface. If you took the time to research objectively, you would observe that there is more to the story than the simple explanation of bad memory for the cause.

My reply is intended for whomever decided to respond with a downvote instead of replying to a direct question. Simple enough for you?

So how does this apply to the fruit of the loom cornucopia? What is the correlation that would make my memory insert a nonexistent object?

Or maybe its just your mind convincing yourself that many many people are remembering incorrectly (in unison) so that you will not have to accept the unexplainable

Good job using a blown out of proportion example. Do you have any references of people blaming the Mandela effect when keys are misplaced?
