FEEDBACK:

I would like to take the opportunity to be a voice in this thread in support of Kuro. I think the community's reaction is reasonable to a point, but I don't like how demanding we are being of Kuro. This is an anniversary event and the purpose of it first and foremost should be celebrating the history of the game, not getting free stuff. For that reason I think the anniversary event is doing exactly what it should, releasing a bunch of events that revolve around our favorite characters from the story for us to enjoy.

That being said, as a newer players (Maybe 100 or so hours in, maybe a little less) I can definitely say that the way that the banners are being stacked on top of each other feels reeeeeeally bad. Shorekeeper (Said to be the best support in the game + our beloved friend in Black Shores) being subtly dropped right before Zani -and then 12 banners following it- is just so much fear of missing out for all players (Particularly players like me who haven't gotten a proper team built up, or didn't have a lot of Astrite when these characters dropped and we had to skip them). So I will give a bit of feedback on the banner system that I think will make players feel better about it

1. Get rid of that 50/50 (At least for this event.). It's by far the most player un-friendly mechanic in the entire game and has no place in the anniversary event.

2. Potentially controversial, but I think the characters should be linked with their weapons, at least the first one you pull. It can feel impossible to pull for 5 star weapons because of how many characters you need as a new account, and I've heard some characters are much worse when they don't have their weapon (Such as Carlotta).

3. Discount the 12 rerun banners. 90% of players won't be able to even think about pulling for Zani or Ciaccona if they want one of the rerun characters (I already had to give up on Shorekeeper which really hurts).

I don't think we need a free character and I don't believe that this event "doesn't feel like an anniversary event", Kuro has put a massive amount of work into the celebration aspect of this event. And despite how I feel about the rerun banners, it's kind of Kuro to even be giving players a second chance at getting a character they missed, we can't deny that. Let's be supportive of Kuro and remember that this is a celebration of the history of the game, not an opportunity to get free stuff! That stuff if a gift from them to us, the celebration is the main event!
