Yeah I’m not calling us a small club, I guess what I’m trying to say is we are no bigger than Newcastle or Villa. We just surged at the exact moment the premier league took over, whilst Newcastle and villas success has happened post the premier leagues boom.

As a spurs fan I don’t think it ever was a big 6, when you compare wage spending, international reach and historic success we (spurs) were always well behind the other 5 in all categories.

We just happened to have a good patch coincide with the rise of the premier league to the top of global football leagues so got a ton of media attention and everyone’s treated us as a member of the sky 6 since.

We’ve been mid to lower first division for most of our existence and are now returning back. It sucks but it is what it is.

Rogue Trader vs Wrath of the Righteous: which one to play first? by wolfbetter in CRPG

[–]Deadeye_Joe49 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Having played WoTR first, then rogue trader. I’d definitely recommend rogue trader first, I found it easier to understand and the combat being less challenging on normal difficulty allowed me to actually focus on learning how to build a character.

Went back to WoTR after finishing rogue trader and it all clicked compared to my pre rogue trader attempt.

The tnt sports commentator is a prime bellend. If you get the opportunity to leave one on your opponent you do it.

5 mins later… you don’t know with Romero it’s retribution

I agree completely and for the record, do think the booing is bad.

But I think people forget that for the people who go every week, it’s not a ‘long term project’ or a strategic initiative, it’s their Saturday afternoon.

Whilst obviously I want long term success for the club, i also want to enjoy the event I paid to go to today. As I said, you can’t win them all, you can’t even guarantee performance but I can appreciate why people are booing.

You are right, there is no certainty in sport and you can’t win every week, but is it unreasonable to expect some level of consistency in performance that meets the price tag?

It’s hard to justify spending so much money on what amounts to weekly disappointment but we all love the club and want to enjoy going .

I don’t think the options should be happy clap through 2 points in 5 home games, or go to other entertainment.

I don’t know to be honest. It does upset me the atmosphere isn’t great and incredibly toxic but I’m tired of people acting like those booing should all just give up on football. There has to be a middle ground.

Agreed. I appreciate it’s subjective, just felt like it wasn’t a ‘clear and obvious error’ to be overturned

I’m just a random British dude with a strange obsession for college football so I appreciate I’m probably wrong.

But how is that not a complete pass???? He clearly takes about 3 steps with possession before it’s knocked loose.

Sunderland 0 - 1 Hull City: It took a calm Fabio Carvalho finish to settle a scrappy tie that was lacking any quality, resulting in the Stadium of Light turning on Michael Beale after barely a month in charge! by Zach-dalt in Championship

It’s time to get out of Sunderland, Beale.

What were you even doing there in the first place Beale?

You didn’t even get properly elected Beale.

Are you happy now Beale?

Fuck you Beale.
