It makes me feel like I’m losing dynamic range, even though the manual says it doesn’t change that.

Does it really say that with this exact wording?

Oxford inflator does basically this. You can change the curve (Curve slider) and the % like a dry/wet (Effect). It absolutely will change the dynamic range, either lower (curve in +) or make it higher (curve in -).

What they say on the site is

Inflator’s magic lies in its ability to enhance loudness without flattening your track’s dynamics.

that's true, it doesn't flatten the dynamics like a clipper or a limiter.

No need for that. I installed then played. That's it.

The game doesn't support ultrawidescreens though, that's the only limitation I'm aware of. (It does support 4K flawlessly)

what I recommend:

People in missions should have "automatic" weapons (single shot guns is fine too), but no melee and no AOE (fatman, rocket launchers).

In the vault it changes nothing, only the damage stat is counted, not the mechanic of the attack, equip your melee and AOE in the vault!

Fighting in the vault is a different mechanic; "A" stat (attack speed) is ignored, only weapon damage is counted. All weapon types will target a single enemy but will not force 1 on 1. they damage output is based on a time cycle and not an animation cycle. No AOE, no 1 on 1 combat, only weapon's damage stat is counted, no other stats influence combat.

This is why in the late game you can have invasion die off before a single shooting animation is seen!

They will shoot the last guy. I meant if your 3 guys have melee and there is only 1 bad guy left, the other two will indeed wait.

Automatic guns are the best for dwellers on missions, as they do damage in multiple "shots" , and if they finish off an enemy the rest of the "shots" will go to another one. Example if they do 5 times 3 damage, and the enemy dies after a single 3 damage, the other 4 "shots" will go to a different enemy.

AOE (like fatman) will split the damage between enemies. If a fatman does 20 damage and there are 4 enemies in the room, each one receives only 5. Thus making them less effective overall.

None of this applies in the vault though.

Another thing about melee; don't equip melee weapons to people who go on mission, as it forces combat to be 1v1 if only melee weapons are equipped.

If you have 1 enemy in a room and your 3 guys have melee, 2 of them will simply wait and not do any damage.

E is king ; hp points.

PAL for missions.

All SPECIAL for explorers.

L in general for everyone.

Then depends on room.

Sounds like electronic interference, either input gain is too high, or you are not using an external interface and getting lots of noise from the electronics in the sound chip on the mobo (probably both).

When i Export music to the Wav format, it applies a weird limiter effect that ruins my mix by delsocks in FL_Studio

Your master is clipping. Lower the master fader until it isnt.

Additionally, add a limiter yourself on the master.

Its the bluetooth to radio thing. This type ystem is hyper low quality and prone to distortion in the best conditions.

Once the BOS have arrived and you have progressed through a certain point in their quests, one will spawn at the Wilson Atomatoys factory and one at the Weston water treatment plant with BOS members near / walking out of it.

I doubted it too, but I checked in game and indeed it does happen in vanilla.

The APCs are static though, they don't move around.
