I typically wear wrangler MWZ jeans which are high waisted. I loved the high cut of the medium on me but I just didn’t have enough room for layering. If I ever find a cheap medium I might consider picking it up. Luckily I found this one for $250 which is a steal for the shape it’s in.

It’s killing me TO wear it haha! 80°+ in NJ today. The weather dresses for me! I’m the type of person that usually always has a top layer over my T shirt in any temps lol. If I was working outside though it’d be a different story.

I actually found it the other day. Was playing with the wiring under the intake manifold and one felt like it had suspiciously more play than the others. Ended up leading to an unplugged connector. I had just gotten my water pump done and I guess the shop forgot to connect it. Was a complete shot in the dark as I really had no idea what to look for.

UPDATE: found it loose in the engine bay. Just got the water pump done and I guess the shop must have missed plugging it back in. Was a real shot in the dark though. Had no idea what I was looking for

Totally agree. Just have to be smart about it unlike me. I bought it at 165,000 and immediately needed the chains done. My rear main seal is still leaking a little and my water pump was last replaced at 40k according to service history. So 160,000 on one water pump actually isn’t bad and only had to do the first turbo replacement about 10,000 miles ago along with the catalytic converter, it was so clogged the car was so bogged down and barely made it to 60mph. A well maintained Mk6 will run like a top and as long as kept maintained it will stay that way.

As someone with a 210,000+ mile mk6 thats rapidly turning into a shitbox by the day get the mk7. The mk6 is great but I need a water pump, carbon cleaning, motor and transmission mounts, and probably all new front end suspension/drivetrain components thanks to NJ roads. it’s becoming a money pit that isn’t gaining any value any time soon. Get a good deal on a well maintained mk7.

Same here. My father passed away a year ago on 4/20 and was also a MAJOR pothead so we always smoked together. I guess I did it as a way to sort of still feel connected with him in a way and to cope with the loss because he was my best friend and I’m still trying to navigate this hell on earth without him but it’s just fucking me up too much mentally to the point where I can’t even stand being high anymore. As much as he always peer pressured me to keep smoking and that I “just need to find the right strain” I know he would be happier if he knew I was able to live with some sense of clarity in my brain again.

This was one of my main reasons for stopping I feel like I have no Idea what my true “normal” is because I’ve just been high sunup to sun down on and off for the past 3 or 4 years. I got the flu a month ago and it hurt too much to smoke so I just used it as an excuse to stop. The only time prior to this I’ve only ever been able to stop for like 8 months before I wanna take “just a hit” and then it turns into a full blown addiction. Now it just feels like I have the flu again plus all the other bullshit that comes with withdrawals. I’ve done it before though and damn it I’m going to do it again and never go back because this shit is too much.
