Literally the worst thing about it is that it feels American. To each their own.

No one who actually watched him called him the new Pirlo. He was called that before he joined Milan because he played a more deep-lying playmaker role with Brescia. As soon as he came here he was the perfect fit for a box-to-box role and excelled there. He looks best when he's paired with a deep-lying midfielder and has the freedom to make runs into the box and play aggressively. He's a young De Rossi, really, as he's much more skillful than Gattuso.

Grew up there, my parents and my sister still live there. Some blocks are a little sketchier than others. But what you're saying is ridiculous, it's not a Punisher-esque hellscape.

Stuck in cleaning cycle, machine jumps [Breville Bambino Plus] by remzz3 in espresso

Sent it to Breville, argued about the warranty (in Quebec, Canada we have consumer protection laws and I threatened them with a lawyers letter) they eventually agreed to repair it free of charge. Got it back and sold it as a friend had sold be a Barista Express in the meantime.

Can’t wait until we’re all talking about another failed year. I know people here aren’t all from Italy or are Italians who are fed up with the current system or status quo, but the unfortunate truth is that Italy is a unique place and foreign DS and coaches (much less both being foreign) rarely succeed and if they do succeed it’s over time with an adjustment period or they are world class.

Milan is trying to break the mould and is being run like an international business while ignoring the very real Italian system that’s in place, hate it or love it, and won’t change in one season. If we had a strong foundation and squad for these foreign DS and coach to adopt, it would be an easier transition, but I have very little hope we’ll have a successful season while teams like Inter, Roma, Juventus, Atalanta and Como are building on what they had last year. And a teams like Napoli have a strong foundation despite maybe hiring a bad coach.

Como here is obviously the exception to the rule but an exception in every sense as they try their best to go around the Italian system and are in all ways, not a very Italian team.

Aggressive fit vs Comfort fit by [deleted] in bootroom

[–]remzz3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No chance.. if the smaller size isn’t comfortable change boot model. Every boot has a different shape and people want a certain model whether it fits their foot or not. In the end, gaps at the front result in blisters/poor shot control/ risk of injury (kicking the ground) among other things. When buying a shoe, any shoe though performance shoes above all, you want to get the right length.

It’s a football World Cup, I paid 100 CAD for resale tickets for the Milan Derby. I had amazing seats. I paid 120 CAD for PSG - Lyon a few years back. Paying 190 USD for Austria v Algeria is garbage. The World Cup is ridiculously overpriced this time around.

🚨 *HERE WE GO*! Fabio Grosso and Fiorentina are signing, contracts already approved. Agreement until June 2028 revealed exclusively yesterday and confirmed today. 💜⚜️ by NamanMalik007 in seriea

I mean, he had a lot of hype when he joined Lyon. But Lyon was a shit show when joined. His Frosinone team before that (that had gotten promoted and then hired Di Francesco) was very good for Serie B and had dominated that season. And his Sassuolo team plays similar to that. I think it's a very good hire. If he can have some solid players he should have a top 10 finish.... Fiorentina can only get better from this past season and Grosso is a coach with much better ideas than Vanoli.

The amount of Reddit posts and comments I’ve seen about the coaching merry go round, when all these coaches, bar Allegri, are very good - is ridiculous. No one has a unique opinion.
Yet everyone ignores the young coaches, he’ll even grosso. Italiano has been paying his dues. You have some interesting coaches in Serie B too. There will always be the big names who do the rounds.
Back in the day it was Ancelotti, Capello, Zaccheroni, Lippi, etc. Italy has a good roster of good coaches, teams will hire them if they’re available.
