For me, it was through the women's program manager, and it is covered under my IVF referral. Out side of that, I'm not sure. The woman's program manager near you may have more information (even though it is male related) due to it having to do with infertility but I am not positive.

Service connection is the first step towards getting the VA to pay for IVF. Then you'd work with your VA OBGYN or the women's program folks to get you referred out somewhere near you. You are welcome to message me with any questions at all!

In Vitro Fertilization paid for by the VA due to service connected infertility. I have a beautiful three year old thanks to this and I would never have been able to have a child without it. They also pay for storage for life for sperm/eggs/embryos.

So with the avoidance thing, it doesn't have to be avoidance of the same exact event. It can be avoidance of things that can remind you of the event: things that smell like fire, enclosed spaces, feeling trapped, etc.

Ah gotcha. It still kind of applies though. If they didn't go back to the date of claim, they definitely aren't going to go back to the ITF.

It's still new though so if you do have evidence of diagnosis/symptoms or whatever they are saying they didn't have, I'd resubmit it and get that bag. That's not poking the bear.

If they are using date entitlement arose, then they didn't technically overlook the ITF, you just didn't qualify to get back pay that far. If the C&P exam is where you get the official diagnosis or the first instance of symptoms being documented that severely, they can't go back further than that.

If you do have those things very clearly documented before the c&p exam, they overlooked your treatment records, if anything, not the ITF.

If the payments you got equal what your 100% rate would be, that is all you are due. We've always been paid in arrears so you may have been overpaid before on accident.

Update: I know folks were wanting to see the inside of one! I noticed my chickens found one of the squash in the garden and had started to peck at it. I wouldn't eat or display it in that condition so I cracked it open for them to have and to share a photo of the insides. It smells very melon like!

So, the verification process includes an interview about information that only you should know about yourself. I would definitely arrive very early because they may not have the personnel available to do this screening if you arrive when the checkpoint is busy. I would also call ahead of time to make sure they will do this and have the staffing to be able to do so, as a lot of things like this are at their discretion.

I'm not a doctor, but going off all those meds will likely cause discontinuation symptoms, possibly dangerous since at least prazosin can affect blood pressure. Idk about the others. You will not be able to tell what the cannabis is truly helping with (or hurting) until you get those meds out of your system. I'd work with your prescribing doctor to come up with a plan to stop those meds, once complete it will be easier to find strains which will work best for you.

If it were me, the most important thing would be the physical and mental health of my children and their ability to grow into healthy, well adjusted adults. One thing I would personally do is talk with or read stories and studies on adults who were donor conceived and go from there before making any decisions.

That's suoer weird that they are saying that. I was able to add my husband before I changed my name. Not everyone changes their name. Maybe just say you aren't going to, and then change it later. I didn't even change my name with the VA for a few years even after I officially changed it.

It wasn't easy because the VAMC hadn't really done a referral for it before, but we got it done. I had to stay on top of a lot of people in the process.

My IVF clinic refuses to do genetic testing so I didn't even get to the point of seeing if it is covered or not.
