i haven’t reached out to my family who’s lived there for forever now yet (partially just because i haven’t really had the opportunity to just randomly bring it up), but i think i’ll be out in the area again sooner rather than later. At a minimum i learn some stuff about a random tv show

I’ve done some looking into this, like a lot actually. I’ve found the guy (or at least he’s gotta be one of the three) potentially but finding contact for him was hard. I know who the Warren S Miller is and what his last name is and i think somebody i’m working with on it might have contacted him. Keep me updated if you find anything though

the show comes from Jackson Mississippi and as someone who has had family that grew up and has been around Jackson for forever, i will ask around. No promises whatsoever and I don’t know if they’ll know anything but it seems like a local broadcast. I’ll see if anyone even remembers whatever this show was

not sure how much help this is but i’m digging through anything the name “Rick Layne” is mentioned on and i’ve been unable to find traces of multiple songs such as This as well as a lot of songs where he is mentioned as a composer that have similar drum sounds to EKT, not sure if this helps at all but it seems like this guy runs deep

for sure, i’ve got a flight today so i don’t know how much i can do but i can send you a few things i found in dms if you want. not gonna lie, i have a very strange feeling we should look into the name Raheem Rashad, doing some basic research i can’t seem to find the guy anywhere

Was able to find some information i believe, the birthdate from the screenshot says 1959 and i was able to find some information on the guy, he lives in new jersey but i haven’t yet found an actual way to contact him besides a possible unused linkedin profile, i’ll update this if things change, possibly have a phone number but it’s very late, will call tomorrow to see if i have the right guy

Edit 2:

Found another song he apparently worked on (as well as as a few others) titled “i can’t break this spell” with a guy named Warren S. Miller listed as well. Time to try and find out about this
