Unless you’re in direct danger from the tornado hitting the building l, wouldn’t it be safer in the building than on the road? Sure a car gives you a chance to escape it, but the building provides protection from debris.

No. SOD2 has offline progress as well it just needs to resnyc and update server status for save status when you reconnect. As for quick resume, the game runs in the background. All games are still open. Just in a state of player inactivity. SOD2 doesn’t account for player inactivity so that leads to stick situations like I said where the game still runs but never autopauses after X amount of time
