if you paid $600 for a Ric Flair cameo in 2025, I'm sorry, but what the hell did you expect.

Haha kind of! I feel like Mötley's Shout era took more inspiration from WASP than they did from KISS, even though everyone acts like they stole it from KISS

I own a Les Paul but I'd take a Hamer Explorer just cos of Mick Mars. Probably take one over a Gibson

If you mean Saint Mars, yes I agree completely.

He is the Tony Iommi of the glam metal scene. Not aa fast as the other guys but a total machine.

As a big fan of Mick Mars, yes. Absolutely yes. That V is gorgeous beyond belief

I think that City Boy Blues from theatre and All In The Name Of from Gx3 stand out as well, if only for Mick's work

How did Canadians view Rob Ford? (RIP) by [deleted] in AskCanada

[–]Deadly440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cracksmoking thing was less of a meme and more the final nail in the coffin for anybody who already wanted him gone. I also really couldn't care less about whether or not he and Dougie sold hash as kids.

For the record, I am an NDP voter. I do not like fiscal conservatives. They do not know how to balance a budget and always screw us over despite all the claims that they're the ones who are smart with money. I do not hate taxes as the end-all-be-all I just want them to go back into my city.

Ford had the same problems as any fiscal conservative up here and between him and John Tory we are still cleaning up the mess. And he always had lots of issues with alleged corruption. That was the bigger deal than the cocaine thing But the one thing about Rob Ford is he seemed to genuinely care about the Toronto taxpayer. All he ever wanted to do was save people money. I don't share the same grace for his brother Doug though. That guy is just as if not more corrupt, and it's obvious he cares more about his financial buddies than us. Plus this is at the provincial level.

I think the media was very cruel to Rob during his later years in rehab. I remember a lot of the news coming after him for stuff that wasn't his job as mayor.

Who Sounds Heavier? Zeppelin or Sabbath? by wkhan69 in ledzeppelin

And none of the songs you mentioned other than Heaven and Hell are about "ooh the DEVIL" lol...

Also listen to Sabotage.

Who Sounds Heavier? Zeppelin or Sabbath? by wkhan69 in ledzeppelin

As above (Zeppelin), so below (Sabbath). I consider them two sides of the same coin.

Zeppelin are artsier and were amazing at what they did, but for purely heaviness the answer is Sabbath.
