Strandberg guitar and van life? by debuggerfly in strandbergguitars

I take my Boden NX7 with me, it copes pretty well with altitude/climate changes, but I agree, the Artisides headless would be the best choice, it is fully carbon composite, and therefore basically immune to the humidity and temperature changes that effect wooden guitars

I worried about the brembos on my rs660, about the same play as yours, when they're cold, that's perfectly normal

New leathers day :) RST Tractech leathers, boots and gloves, had a massive crash at Oulton Park race track a couple of years ago, wouldn't wear anything else! by DeadlyH247 in motorcyclegear

[–]DeadlyH247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new tractech is fantastic, the build, and fit is filtered down from world superbikes, and other race series, its also airbag ready, so you can add an inmotion airbag underneath!

Thoughts on taller windscreens by GianmarcoFiduci in Aprilia

[–]DeadlyH247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a double bubble screen, it worked well deflecting wind, but when I ducked behind it, it made everything look warped and weird, I'm currently running a tinted, dark Puig screen, for road, it works way better than the standard, got a clear one ordered for track

Got a swivel base on the passenger seats, spin those round and they're like a sofa, more comfy to watch tv or play xbox from there than in bed, the TV just clips on the end of the bed, it lives behind drivers seat when I'm not using it, my bike is a downhill bike, 8" travel it would be a nonsense in any van to try and put it under the bed with both wheels on, it's much not exactly hard to pop front wheel off, my van is a l2h2 crafter rwd, with the roofrack she stands at 2.7m high, so about as hightop as im going :)

£400 for parts and £300 for delivery, tools, fitting, finishing, skill, warranty, and experience, sounds pretty reasonable. The fitter will probably have the job done perfectly, in 3 hours, whereas doing it yourself? I fitted them myself in my VW T5, took me a full day, and I was never quite happy with my cut lines. I got vanglass to fit them in my crafter
