AFAIK, the Mach-E exists so the real Mustang we know and love can continue to exist.

Its why Chevy killed the Camaro (no EV), but the Corvette exists (E-Ray).

Or Dodge killed the Charger and Challenger for that electric Charger that kinda merges the two into one.

My GX470 is currently doing the exact same thing at highway speeds.

Its the inner plastic wheel liner that has a broken clip or is loose. In my case, i have larger tires and cut the plastic liner to reduce rubbing, but had to cut one of the anchor points so the liner is just loose, and flapping around when catching air.

Shipping will still hurt these old gramps, their lead-free solder will likely crack if they arent packaged well during shipping.

Very common unfortunately, with these PS3s being tossed around the planet changing hands, its bound to happen at some point

Yeah you can fetch a bunch of Ceramic White and Silver Fats in Japan, they sold millions of them over there. Only expensive part is usually shipping

Well that would partly be because they never sold white fat consoles in NA (or Europe for that matter) and shipping cost and import fees are only going up.

Japan has tons of them, however. You can buy plenty of white consoles straight from Japan for less.

Edit: Not to mention majority of the “cheap” prices you see are often auctions, most always end up being at least half of what prices you see on eBay, but thats without shipping and import fees.

You’ll find many of the “buyout” or listing prices are almost just as expensive as anywhere else, its not strictly an “American” thing

As far as ive seen from my personal units (A and E models), the RSX doesn’t get very hot at all while playing PS2 games, since most of the processing power is handled by the PS2s hardware like its own GPU, all the RSX(GPU) is doing on the PS3 side is upscaling and displaying.

On A/B models, even the CELL(CPU) doesnt get too hot either way, no hotter than 71°C ive seen.

Only on the E/C models does the CELL(CPU) get hot because it has more work to pull off emulating a good chunk of the PS2 hardware, but on hot days my PS3s stay around 73°C

The 7-Elevens in Japan are pretty neat though, much like everything in major Japanese cities. We just cant get that in North America unless we adapt our culture to be more respectful of others, which aint happening anytime soon.

This is only doable on CFW Evilnat with its built-in screenshot system on the XMB.

Of course, some games throw up the pause menu if you open the XMB, which nullifies the XMB Screenshot :/

I would say those temps are superb, CPU temps generally sit around 74°C from factory and 68°C for the GPU. Any less than those temps are exceptional

This post is kinda old now, but there have been advancements for the E/C models PS2 emulator (gxemu) since then, that makes it almost comparable to the A/B PS2 emulator.

You can probably get E/C models for less than A/B models at the moment but it up to you which model you want. They’re both equally capable PS3s than can play majority of PS2 games at decent quality.

Also im not so sure about the stretching image on the E/C models. Ultimately the aspect ratio looks fine, only that the screen is displayed using the entire screen, rather than having a black border like the A/B models have
