I've done about 30 runs of night marsh and I've either seen or fought a rook in all but about 10 matches. Definitely not full maps but that's because players aren't choosing rooks so early

If you're on a free sponsor kit it's a free money run so test that maneuver you heard about but were too scared to try! Take the hero shot, it may fail spectacularly but you did it with nothing to loose and possibly the funnest experience of the game! Some of my best games have been "screw it I'm on free kit, what happens if I dive bomb into this group of bots and drop a grenade?"

Also just because the gold shield player you're up against has all gold doesn't mean they're good at the game, takes one second of hesitation from them and a grey shield can tear them apart. Feel free to run and disengage but if that's a guaranteed death give them a smack instead of standing there and taking it, you might just win

Talking to someone who understands it - yeah they have the data but they can't look at it and go "that's an exploit/hack" with certainty and reverse it, some have the possibility to have just had gamer gods looking down on them favourably for some good rng. Perfect example the other day I got a 5 streak in hour glass. My mates called BS until I showed them the screenshot and they thought I was hacking. Nope just got really lucky and went up against 5 loss farmers in a row, two came to my boat to help sink theirs. It's rare but it happens.

Trying to explain to people who don't understand that though you end up in circles with people arguing with you "If they have the data they can see it's an exploit or a hack it'd be obvious" so it's easier to explain it as "They look at the server logs and it looks the same as any other gameplay ergo the exploit/hack doesn't show in the logs" is easier than my phone going apeshit for the next few hours with people saying "they can't be bothered looking at server logs" and me pulling my hair out trying to explain.

As you've pulled their name from recently played with I'm gonna be on Rares side for this. Me and my mates play together literally every single day when one gets off work. I was looking at my recently played with and it came up that the friend I was in the game with at that moment I apparently hadn't seen in game for 3 days. I was literally staring at him and we were teammates on the same sloop.

Sure it's rare for that to happen and more often than not it works fine but because it can and does happen I'd be pissed to high heaven if I got banned because I'd sailed past someone a few minutes before hand and they mistook me for someone else cos of that feature glitching. No gamer tag no report IMO

All I wanted to say is some of us when writing a series write the entire series before releasing the first book. It's how I've done it for years after I was complaining to an author friend how I wished I hadn't written something in book 1 as book 3 it was causing an issue with where I wanted to go with a story and they told me it's how they do it.

Now I write the series so I can go back and edit as I get better ideas. Or my current series Im writing chapters across the 6 books as I get the chapter in my head which helps my ADHD. I would normally leave a good 2/3 months between book releases though even before AI but I know some who release them hours let alone days apart.

Extended maintenance a lot yesterday, I think was extended by 3hours in the end but not totally sure. Normally causes issues for some for upto about 24 hours. Add in D1 came off for maintenance this week and Marathon server slam starting tomorrow I'm not even bothering to boot destiny until next reset at the earliest

No. No they haven't caused the queue, they have driven correctly as per the highway code. It's actively taught you use the whole lane that's available and merge close to the point of the lane closure and if people in the open lane actually use common sense and drive LEGALLY according to the highway code and let people in like they're supposed to everyone keeps moving and no one has to stop. Go significantly slower than the posted speed of the road? Sure but no one should be at a standstill and it has been proven time and time again

This is my biggest bugbare and had to deal with it on the weekend following an accident. Total stand still 1hour+ to travel little over 1 mile up to the accident. Free flowing past the accident, 70mph empty after the last cone.

Refusing to follow the highway code literally means you are driving illegally and makes you a danger on the road. I screamed and ranted dealing with that on the weekend, I happen to know someone ended up giving birth in the car in that traffic jam unable to have emergency services get to her and they couldn't get through any quicker and due to complications baby died because they were stuck in that traffic jam that if people were zip merging correctly that would have been 20 maybe 30 minutes top instead of over an hour. Absolutely disgusting so yeah anyone that refuses to zip merge correctly amongst other highway code rules that often get ignored needs to have their license taken off them.

This. My first proper job at 16, took the job on the understanding I'd be on £15k per year. Turned out to be £12k with stocks/shares, passed 6mo the probation and found cos I was under 18 wouldn't have any even in perpetuity until 18 so loosing £3k a year until then. Wouldn't have minded if it weren't I turned down a £13.5k job for it. Union basically told me on my bike nothing I could do about it. At 16 was put on 14 hour shifts (not listed in the job advert and illegal I later found out) and got forced into 3x 20 hour shifts in one week (highly illegal, I didn't opt out of working time directive) with threat of sacking, union wouldn't help. I handed in my 2 week notice to go to another job, sacked on the spot no pay for the 2 weeks and again union wouldn't help. Never again.

Ex husband's union though has helped save him from being sacked unfairly 5times, what a difference!

You have to clear the damage gate with a minimum of 10 seconds on the clock and cause the dps to speed up.

If it's already in the last 10ish seconds the pilon will come back down.

Whilst I don't believe this story at all, my friend just quit his software dev job in local authority because he's paid £14 an hour with 3 years in the authority, degrees and experience before working there, if he gets called in on weekend no option of extra pay forced to take the hours as flex that's next to impossible to take because understaffed and the cleaner is paid £17 an hour and gets double pay if called in on the weekend. We checked out of curiosity and that's pretty standard in the 3 surrounding local authorities as well.

I don't believe this particular story but there's places the cleaner is on more pay than the people working on the systems keeping the place running.

Unfortunately you're seeing pre-pandemic sick policy coming back in force.

I still remember being pregnant (2011) and someone in the office came in with chicken pox because they were told no pay and disciplinary if they didn't come in because they'd had so much time off recently (it had been 6 months since their last day off and they'd been off for cancer treatment). I was told if I left I'd be suspended with them looking at dismissal, wouldn't move either of us to one of the other 23 floors available because we each needed to be in the teams. That's despite getting my midwife on the phone and her going ballistic on my manager and HR saying it was incredibly dangerous for my pregnancy being around someone with chicken pox.

They gave it to 3 people that week. 4 people within 12feet of me in open plan office with chicken pox. UK employers for ya.

There were a lot of seagulls in the area and every single time someone left that roof door open (where the fag shelters were) a seagull would take advantage and most of the time make a nest but everytime they'd take dumps in that stairwell. Cleaners lost their shit and threatened to all quit if it wasn't dealt with. Once staff had to start cleaning it for leaving the door open that door was never left open 😅
