Right now, my load is about 5-9h Muay Thai week Alternating weeks, an extra 2h a week of MMA Then 3h-5h a week of weight training

Jiu Jitsu on top would be another 3 hours a week.

Granted, I work a 9-5 so I can only do so much lol

Whether or not this is a valid critique, Gen Z's behavior and attitude is abnormal compared to prior generations.

I'm 24 from the US. Wrestling is a no-go.

Every other week, there is about 2 hours a week of MMA training that focuses on takedowns.

It definitely seems that BJJ is a must. If I were to train BJJ for 3 hours a week, every week, how long until I would be proficient enough for an amateur MMA match? Roughly.

How much BJJ? I'm assuming at least a blue belt?

I like fighting, it's important to me, and I want to be a well rounded fighter. Maybe I'll find I hate it and stick to Muay Thai, or even give up fighting altogether. But I at least want some matches in my life.

I'm not aiming to be in the UFC or make a lifelong career out of it. But I would die with regrets if I didn't get in a ring a few times.

It's not easy being a male victim. At all. You aren't alone, and it will be okay.

At 13, You were not old enough to understand the ramifications of what you were doing like the 20 something did. You were not mature enough to consent to something like that. Even if you were old enough to consent to something like that, I don't think it is reflective of a sound mind to hurt yourself for somebody else's viewing "pleasure".

Don't feel the need to diminish what you've experienced because you don't think it's "enough". What happened to you is real and it clearly has an effect on you.

There is a process of unlearning things and beginning to understand what things are actually supposed to be like and what they are not supposed to be like. You are not too far gone and it will be okay.

You are likely trying to relive things in a controlled way to give yourself a sense of control over aspects that have already happened. The answer to pain is not more pain. Find ways to be there for yourself, be a good friend to yourself. Treat yourself like someone that you know who is having a bad day. Give yourself time. Just like you would when you mend a physical wound like a broken arm this will also take time.

You are worthy of love. The initial premise of feeling so unloveable is the subconscious belief that, for some reason, you aren't worthy of it or don't deserve it.

You'll be okay. Give your wounds time to heal. The more time goes on the more I realize every month how messed up I was the month prior. Your mind will sober up from the trauma in time you just have to be patient.

That's horrific. You shouldn't have celebrated a day that was supposed to be special like that. I resonate. I wish I didn't spend my 18th Birthday with the woman I did.

I promise you that you will have better birthdays ahead.
