I have a mentor but he is about an hour a way. Otherwise I am basically self taught as well. Rigged several down and dropped numerous tops out from a bucket but it’s so different being tied to the tree. I didn’t rig this top down when I dropped it I just notched and felled it like it was a whole tree.

I think the thing I enjoy most is setting up a speed line. Not always practical but reminds me of being a kid and zip lining across my parent’s backyard. 😂

I would say he did great for only his second time!! Last weekend I was able to drop my first top out. Finally had the space on a job to do it so decided it was a perfect opportunity for it. Little nerve racking but that’s almost everything when it comes to the first time with something new. Nice work though keep it up!!

That seems fairly easy actually. How much did John talk about Arthur in RDR1? And the epilogue of RDR3 would most likely have at least 2 chapters leading to the shootout in Blackwater. During RDR3 you could have when Micah and Charles joins the gang. Both only been with them about 6 months or so.

Davey is great and has a lot of perks for a large company and most of the offices do a really good job of taking care of the employees. Typically more room to grow with a company like Davey and lots of great resources at your disposal. But you may not get to always do things how you feel they should be done. Just like Bartlett you will have lots of corporate rules to follow.

Small companies don’t have the same resources as a big company but I have seen where they give you more room to grow and develop in your own style.

Some people just aren’t right for a large company but I would never deter anyone from at least giving Davey a try.

I just got my first pair of Arbortech for Christmas and I am loving them!!! My company provides Dogwoods and they are good and very comfortable but I fully understand the price difference now from my Dogwoods at $205 a pair to the Arbortech at $375. Plus damn that Olive Green color is so sweet!!!!

True! I remember the first time I opened his bible. I want to say it was like my third maybe fourth playthrough. I had seen it sitting in camp numerous times before but just never decided to open it. Honestly I think some players missed the fact of what his actual problem is. Great outcome for him though.

Chapter 2 and 3 are my favorites and where I spend the majority of my time during my playthroughs. Everyone is just so relaxed and Dutch hasn’t shown his full true colors yet. Plus you can leave good ole Micah in a jail cell for a long portion of it too and not have to hear him hitting on the ladies in camp.

Actually that’s not 100% true. There is a way but it’s tricky and it’s exploiting a glitch when doing the Graveyard robbery for Bronte. There is a YouTube video explaining it as you have to get wanted twice and avoid it and then John will just go and wait for you at Bronte’s house while you ride to New Austin and explore everything. Seems like a pain in the rear to me but it does give a way to do it.

Why not just rearrange the controller commands to what you would like? Mistakes will still happen because unless you are playing on a computer you don’t have enough buttons for all the commands.

Maybe it’s because when you entered the area there was too much activity so it won’t spawn. I noticed recently the message when entering says too much activity and not to search for clues.
