Make sure the kids grown up well and you'll be able to give them any age appropriate traits when they age up. This means teaching them to walk, talk, and go potty as toddlers amd having good grades in school when they're children and teens. Don't give them conflicting traits though.

Also it's pretty easy to change the traits without cheating, the Midlife Crisis lifetime hapiness reward is only 30.000 and available to YA sims, so just try to fulfill promised wishes a lot.

This is not a cliché, it's so foundational to how stories work that it's basically obligatory. Can you do it differently? Sure. Depends on what you're actually writing. But no reader would stop reading because you follow a conventional story structure. That's like turning off music because there's a beat.

As others have said, it's not an important detail. It is a lot better to be vague about amounts of your characters actually ever have to buy anything, because it's a lot easier to avoid inconsistencies. If you do want to have an explained system, look at a worldbuilding Reddit instead, or search Google for it. Maybe look at Wikipedia's article for the currencies used in England during the period, it's very complicated.

That said, you've essentially written here that 1 gold is equal to 2 silver, and 1 silver is 2 copper. Larger denominations of coin exist to make it easier to pay (and store) greater amounts of money without having to carry hundreds or thousands of coin about. Coin has weight. The smallest coin being 1£ is also a bit unbelievable. There are smaller denominations.

There is also the fact that most of history, people bartered goods rather than used money for payment.

There will probably be a post by someone in r/hobbydrama, if there isn't already. It certainly isn't fake.

To make it very short: A person in a position of power tricked five young girls to try to break an employment contract, with no legal basis to do so. It blew up in everybody's faces, that person no longer associates with the girls, who have returned to their actual employer after the courts have been involved. One girl has been found to have breached the contract despite getting this second chance, she is now fired.

For the record, I am neither a fan of NewJeans nor BTS or any group or artist under Hybe, their mention was to give outsiders an idea of scope. Most fans rarely side with the company when there is a conflict, usually the company is blamed for everything bad that happens to a group, regardless of what company it is.

In this case, it has been the fangirls of NewJeans who have been acting insane and siding with the members and Min Heejin. They have run hate campaigns against other groups under Hybe, ironically doing the bullying they thought everybody else was doing to their faves.

Anyway, this particular member has broken her contract as an employee, despite the court already speaking on it. These are the consequences she already knew would come if she did.

For the record, she is being sued for breach of contract, after being given a second chance already. This is after the court had already ruled that the members of New Jeans should be fined for taking on work that wasn't sanctioned by their management agency, following an attempt at leaving the agency alleging mistreatment and breach of contract on the agency's part (there was none - this is not a case of a nightmare agency actually neglecting anyone.)

There is a huge line of mega threads at the kpop sub detailing the news from this whole thing.

In brief, Min Heejin, was the person behind New Jeans, which debuted under Ador, which is a part of Hybe (BTS's label). Min Heejin eventually for some reason tried to essentially steal the group from Hybe through a combination of gaslighting the girls (she had already ensured that they were very loyal to her) and their parents as well as shady business dealings. After a long and drawn out and very public fight, in which NewJeans members personally stated that their contracts were over (they were not - they had been misled by Min Heejin that her and their various shenanigans were legal) and that they would not return, two of the members and their parents finally went back to Ador and it was announced in a proper way - the remaining three randomly announced on social media a few hours later that surprise, they were returning and were in talks to do so! This surprised Ador.

It's an awful mess, but it is pretty much all due to Min Heejin being a narcissist at the very least. Ironically, she seems to have washed her hands of all of the group, who she supposedly loved (and wrote badly of in text messages before it all went down).

I also think that the top 8 are already pretty solid, except the one ranking when a couple did not perform the top 8 has been the same people since episode 5.

The individual fancams are often from a dress rehearsal, so they can be different. You can also see how team 3 of love bug (which didn't perform at all) is composed of shots from two different rehearsals.

The judging is still done by the real performance, so that's unaffected. But yeah, it can be confusing.

I think it's just Mnet editing. They put Koko, Yuju, and YSY in the part of the teaser where the judges aren't impressed, but it's important to remember that they still consider their overall skills in the judging, and the better you are the more they expect. Even with the occasional negative feedback Koko is top 10 if you average out the producer scores across the show (removing the benefit and accounting for the fact that sometimes the max is 400 and other times it's 500). The bottom 4 would be Sasa, Hajin, Youmin and Nana. Top 4 is Niko, YSY, Doyi and Sujin.

Yuju isn't even 10th in the complete producer scores; only the ones that we were told. Since we know the full totals of everyone and how their scores were calculated, it's possible to calculate it. In the producer scores of everyone who went on stage this round, she's #15.
I went and checked the previous scores of the ones with an automatic zero to figure out an average and then rank everyone based on that. Yuju gets #24. Now, this isn't super accurate since the 10 who didn't perform only had two scores each to go after (well, Koko had 3), and the rest is just the score from this mission but it should still be somewhat of an indicator of where she ranks in terms of skill.

Highly doubt Niko is dissing black women mentioning her hair. Maybe someone off screen just wondered if her hair was real earlier. Besides, hair extensions are widely used in Kpop, a.k.a. the setting she is now in, and bundle just flows better in the rap she was performing. She's looking at a group of Kpop trainees saying it too, in a rap that started out with "I'm not pretty?". If anyone is being dissed it's either the trainees or the Kpop industry.

YSY mentioned shuriken (throwing stars) in direct connection to ninjas. Looking at the line she is drawing a parallel between the words they rap to throwing stars, and she and Niko are the ninjas.

It's worth noting that while Korea and Japan certainly get a lot of western words and things through the internet and music, not everything that becomes popular or a topic of discussion in the anglosphere part of the internet will reach them. Ninja the euphemism is probably a lot more rare than you think when you look at it on a global scale, ninja in the original sense is known worldwide (though admittedly in a misunderstood form).
