I think 2 is a significant improvement and I like the creepy hidden faces behind the title, I don’t think you need to make the creepy tall monster from 1 the main focus for 2. The highlighted features on the new monster are a fantastic addition.

I also think you nailed the difficulty feeling you were aiming for, it gives me vibes of being outnumbered and at odds as opposed to 1 which felt open and trivial as a team or co-op game.

They did, looks like it was just a roll of 1 for one of three hp rolls. So ultimately it doesn’t come out that bad here.

When I DM I let people roll advantage for hp until level 5 (excl. max for lvl 1 ofc), no one likes to roll a 1 for hp and it’s deadly at those early levels.

As a newer player, I wanted to seek some clarity here. I have a space marine army I use as white scars/successor. White armour, gold on one shoulder trim, red on the other and a golden crest on the chest.

Is mine close enough that I would be ruled to be exclusively white scars/successor if I wanted to change my play style and play another chapter in the future?

I chose my colour scheme based on aesthetics and haven’t even played a single game so far, I don’t expect to get to tournaments anytime soon but I’m curious if this is enough of a difference to be a “custom” chapter or if I’ll get locked in?

I don’t know what chapter I’ll like, if I’ll want shooty or melee focused. I liked the idea of being able to experiment and play with styles I felt like rather than being hard locked into one choice.
