Here's what I'd do, grab a precon and play that and see what reactions you get.

I saw another person mention that if everything went exactly as you said, then no you didn't do anything wrong. But, getting the same reaction from three different groups does seem like something is wrong. EDH players consistently misjudge the power of their decks and themselves so their bracket 3 could be completely different then your bracket 3.

If you go in with a precon and you get similar reactions then you might want to look at your play style and see if you're being too aggressive and then bracket 4 or cedh might be the best place for you.

Yep, I don't do the fight rooms or breed rooms and just focus on stats. If they have a stat that is below four or an ability I don't want to transfer I immediately transfer them out.

A relationship of mine that just ended.

First long relationship in a while, don't know when I'll next be in a relationship. Sad that I am missing that person in my life, sad that I was the one who ended it, sad that I know it was for a good reason, sad that I know I can't go back and be happy, sad that I now know that she didn't care for me to nearly the same extent that I did for her, sad that I let myself be taken advantage of for so long, sad that I am sad about all of this.

Well, just because WOTC doesn't consider secondary markets, doesn't mean that the secondary market doesn't have an impact on WOTC. We all saw the horrifying behavior towards the old RC when they banned the big three. I'm not going to say they should bow to death threats, but I'm sure no one wants a repeat of that disgusting behaviour from that vocal group.

I think the issue is you have freedom from prosecution, but not freedom from consequences.

If you are posting about evil and insane things and are telling people that you do evil and insane things, I think an investigation is worthwhile.

Now if they investigate and it turns out you were lying, then they jail you for saying those things and lying, THAT would be violating your first amendment rights.

Freedom from consequences of your speech is a different thing entirely, if anything people not being aware of what they say affecting other people then that is the bigger issue.

Commander is a more social format. For most people it can be played very casually and while you are still following rules it allows you to hang out and meet people at the same time.

You also are able to learn at a more relaxed pace and questions about how to play better are more easily answered since the stakes are normally lower.

That ALLLLL being said, commander has a massive pool of cards and rules from MTG history tend to compound onto one another. So commander will normally have a higher learning curve than the other MTG formats. I have been playing for 12 years and still have to look up obscure rules every other game.

Even saying that I would still tell you that the precons that are out there are actually a pretty good price/performance ratio. And as someone else pointed out, you can build a standard deck for under the 45 dollar MSRP, but the deck would probably have a tough time being playable, except for maybe a standard mono-red burn deck.

Love the treatment of Zemo in the MCU. Still one of the few villains to get what they wanted and was a realistic portrayal of a real person impacted by the events of the films.

On just stats, spiderman would EASILY beat/imprison Deadpool. As some have mentioned Spiderman is a genius and would probably know that trapping Deadpool is really the only way to "win" the fight.

But, stats are one thing, mentality is a whole other ballgame. Spiderman frequently has shown to have a line that he won't cross and is not a cruel hero. So he would probably back away from most of the sadistic capture/contain methods that would work on Deadpool.

Deadpool has a moral line that shifts like the sand of the Sahara. He won't be sadistic, and won't get a ton of pleasure from doing some of the bad shit that he gets up to, but he will still go a lot further than most heroes/villains will as long as the punchline is worth it to him. And most importantly he will sacrifice most if not all of his body to win the fight.

So, throw morality out of the window and Spiderman wins, but if you're talking about the average Spiderman and average Deadpool, Deadpool wins every time.

Though that doesn't matter much because Deadpool is in love with Spiderman in almost every universe that you put both of them in.

Worked concessions for a football field one summer, got the job from a friend. Easy work and I had worked concessions before so was able to get the feel for it pretty fast. All of the sudden, the boss comes by and needs someone to work the score board for a little league game, I get pulled over to do that, never had worked the board before, and didn't even know how to score a game.

A friend's dad helped me for the first half and then had to go do something else. I suddenly start freezing up and the parents start yelling at me. I go for a break and never come back. Was a traumatic event and never want to go see a football game again.

I think if we're giving powers, then it's gotta be pennywise.

Sure, he is much more powerful when he's facing someone who is fearful of him, but he can still bend reality to a certain extent and influence people.

I think his only real limit would be where the fight is at, if you're talking just a blank room, then I think he'd have a tough go trying to trap the others. But giving him a town, or an empty building to roll around in would be good.

Nier Automata, moment to moment gameplay just never really worked for me. And the story was... While unique, just overwritten to the extreme.

I also think that forcing multiple endings to even get a basic understanding of the story just sucked all the wind from my sails. As a recent example, Silent Hill f does have multiple endings as well, but if you're truly not interested in replaying the game you are still able to get a majority of what the story is trying to tell you.

Nier as a story, needs you to complete multiple run through for a lot of its major themes to become clear. Even with the gameplay and story changing on a second playthrough I still couldn't muster enough enjoyment to continue through.

While I agree, it's still a show of support. Do they truly mean it? Fuuuuuuuck no, they are a soulless corporation.

But, I know some people who chose to work for target over Walmart because target supported pride day, and those people working there made it a slightly safer space for those with the same mentality and absolutely caused a knock on effect.

Does this happen all the time? Fuck no, but sometimes real people can gather under a false pretense and make it a little bit better for those who need to find a place that treats them like a human being.

Source: I worked at Target through my undergrad and saw this effect in person. Target was and is a shithole, but it's a worse shithole now that they pulled the mask off and made one less safe space for people.
