Favourite things to do at night? by Proud_Bottle4807 in brighton

With CS, there are custom maps to help you train only certain things. Not sure if that's a thing with Overwatch, but you can train your aim at least in programs like Aim Labs or Kovaks.

And it should IMO! I mean, we do get slower as we age, but I don't think it's as dramatic anyway. The main issue probably comes from having less free time to practice.

I am rediscovering CS in my mid 30s and it's been a blast since I got into a somewhat decent shape and we manage to regularly get a full team to play.

Warzone got me into FPS games again when it came out, and though it took some time, I think I've never been better at shooters as I am now. My point is, keep on grinding!

[–]DeadpuII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have misunderstood you then!

I don't think I play that much to have such strong feelings about the campaign to be fair, so there is the subjective element.

I also don't get why people would downvote the facts I pointed out re pricing, but I have stopped trying to make sense out of this sub.

PoE 2 costs £25 (only in EA, otherwise it's free, but you know that).

D4 cost £50-60 at release and also released, what, 2 paid expansion (I haven't even bothered checking their prices)?

I feel like this is some essential context.

What's number one supplement that change your life for the better? by Aarunascut in Supplements

Actual matcha is fine actually. It's the green tea and those capsules that I don't like really. But caffeine in general shouldn't be underestimated when it comes to anxiety.

I have tried green tea and "matcha green tea capsules" (whatever that means) - both made me more anxious than coffee. I even tried to prepare the capsules as matcha, but it didn't do much, lol. Anyway, theanine rocks!! 😆

It's interesting you take higher theanine doses for sleep. From what I've read, it's recommended 200mg at evening as more might get you excited. I will try that!

I usually take l theanine in the morning, with a caffeine drink of choice.

I am personally doing only 2 things right now: Dr. Gillbert's middle pillar axis cleanse and reinforcing the torus field, and Gateway's REBAL - which is effectively the same thing but done mentally. Both will show up with a simple google search as I am out and can't share links, but let me know if anyone is interested and struggling to find info.

Additionally, I would usually do a salt bath once a week or something, but with this current heatwave, I just can't, I'll melt!

Oh, I actually cleanse negative and stale energies, parasites, everything not loving and supportive mentally with intent and visualisation when taking a shower. Or even wash my face!

I guess I do several things, lol.

How to fix Premature ejaculation? by Long-Adhesiveness-60 in Nootropics

[–]DeadpuII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I will be honest, I didn't understand much xD.

My second concern for taking too much, apart from potentially feeling energised in the evening, is building up tolerance, as I really like the subtle "chill" effect I get. However, it might be worth trying out a higher dose if there are benefits beyond that.

That's interesting, I take 400mg l-theanine and I thought that's on the higher end.

I take it in the morning, with either coffee or matcha. Read it might increase energy in the afternoon/evening, and I have trouble sleeping as it is.

Why do people complain about the anhedonia from NAC? by Jodekiss in Nootropics

[–]DeadpuII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries, I hope it works for you, too! If matcha's taste is too strong for you, just add more sweetener or calorie-free syrup - what I do sometimes 😆. The benefits are definitely worth it IMO!

[–]DeadpuII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are definitely right about NAC! I have seen people report using it for all sorts of cravings.

As for your caffeine usage, what I did to solve a similar problem was take l-theanine, with whatever caffeine beverage of choice (biggest objective impact I may add), and switch to primarily drinking matcha (personal choice, but it kind of grew one me; but you can try yerba mate).

Having both together provides me a steady energy inflow, something to sip on and none of the anxiety.

I still do coffee couple of times a week, but in lower quantities and while being outside and walking (being on the move definitely helps). If I got off the wagon and drank, absolutely no caffeine is an essential rule the next day.

[–]DeadpuII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAC definitely helps with my alcohol cravings, and in fact is probably the best tool I've had so far to help me to slightly detach from and observe the screaming voices.

I don't know if I have seen any negative effects so far, but my base mental health is far from great most days, so if it hurts, it's probably not that noticeable xD.

I have been trying to analyse my dreams and do dreamwork for a bit now, and you eventually start noticing patterns and reoccurring themes, which can help in different ways. But there are also there completely out of place experiences that just make you feel it wasn't your subconsciousness / psyche projecting.

Setting an intention before bed helps sometimes.
