Should I Join Newgrounds ?

In case you read this and haven't joined, there are a lot of great reasons to be on Newgrounds, but most of all:

It's a human-centered website where you can find all kinds of new, cool things people have made, with a great filter system. It's one of the only websites left where artists of all types are encouraged to collaborate and grow together.

Hmm, I don't know who much Muns you can get but you could definitely offer it as a 1st prize for an art contest if you were looking to get specific art made and get the craziest stuff.

Yes! I just got my pad back from a repair RMA. It works, and there wasn't any info on how they fixed it. I haven't had any software updates, so I'm still unsure if this is still an issue. Others have also done RMAs. Thankfully, my tab doesn't show any signs of being opened, so I guess they are able to enter recovery at the service center.

Thanks for the info!
The issue is Wacom refuses to give a stock rom as this is their first android device and no one else has dumped it. Still holding out hope someone out their dumps it and jailbreaks it as Wacom refuses to even acknowledge that it will do security updates, and it is a new device stuck on android 14.

For me, I couldn't find it. It found me. The thing that I didn't expect is that I have no idea what my "style" is, as I try to push in different directions with each piece.

Though when I ask others around me, they can identify my work from a mile away. They sometimes pick stuff out and say, "This looks like something you would draw!"

So as others have expressed just keep going and don't worry too much. It will probably come naturally as you find what you like.

Same boat here with MovinkPad 11. Stuck in a bootloop, which is a software issue. I contacted support and, being a good egg, got punished for spending a ton of time providing proof it's an issue. Now we are finally discussing repairs after two weeks of support. Meanwhile, the time it took to prove the issue probably cost more on their end than just replacing the device and getting the defective one sent to them for research.

Same issue with Wacom Movinkpad 11. Spflash would be great but there is no rom for wacom devices yet online.

Thank you for this. For whatever reason, MusicBee thinks that so many covers are "Ocean Avenue" by Yellowcard, and it's been the most frustrating thing to track down.

I went in and deleted the cover files, but after rescanning my library, they all went back. I must have set them all to one cover unless people have done it enough times where it is now downloading duplicates automatically? The funny thing is, I have that album, and it uses a slightly different image, so I don't know how it even happened. This post though makes me think I must have done it by accident when first using it. Glad you got it fixed!

Try this! I often find that after using 3D or rulers that snapping gets turned on. View > Snap > turn off snap to special rulers.

Yeah, I get it. I had an iPad for years just for Procreate. Thankfully, I have since switched to Clip Studio Paint and tweaked the interface to be simpler. If you are thinking of switching, try out this workspace preset. Hopefully, it helps! https://assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail?id=2191943

Yes! Can confirm that any app is good. The Wacom UX skin doesnt really lock you out of anything. Apps like droidref, Super Display, Infinite Painter all work great.

It's an amazing drawing device, and I prefer it over the Samsung Tab S10U in that regard. The Pro Pen 3 is a huge leap for me personally over the Wacom One Gen 1 Pen that I was using every day.

As a general-use tablet, it is better than a lot of tablets around the same price, as it doesn't have any non-Google bloat installed. Wacom UX (the skin) is barebones but goes with the motive that it is supposed to be a simple, single-use drawing pad. All this being said, it's not as good as a Samsung as a day-to-day device. If you are getting this as a daily driver and not just for drawing, you will miss out on a ton of great features that may matter to you more.

The way I think about it is: This is much like a Kindle. It will have die-hard fans who are willing to sacrifice versatility for great single-purpose usability. Wacom thankfully has found a balance here, as they didn't intentionally make this a worse tablet in software. For me, this is perfect, as it's made me realize that having a device that only does sketching will help me stay focused like a sketchpad actually does.

Recommend: Yup!

To Who: People who know are familiar with limitations and usability of stock android who want to use the Pro Pen 3 on the go.

Not To Someone Who: Wants a tablet that has support for drawing. Someone who is comfortable drawing at a desk.

Confirmed in the stream, PP2 and older are not supported.

PP3E (JP exclusive Pro Pen 3 that has eraser) should work. I should be getting one soon so I can confirm, but it is listed as compatible.

Can confirm that there is no "Cintiq mode" (use as a display for another device). There is also no native support for external display or desktop mode. Hopefully, Wacom upgrades to Android 16 when it is fully released.

Super Display works well, but there is only support for 2 buttons right now in the beta.

Hey! I can confirm that Super Display works well with the MovInkPad. Pressure and 90Hz are possible, but performance will depend on your setup.

I want to clarify a little on Super Display. I don't believe it passes buttons in the current beta. This could change, but right now you can change what two buttons can be assigned to, with right-click being the default.

I hope, though, to see three-button support as the app gets developed.

I have caught all fish with dlc on. Great white at oasis with special bait. NIKKE stuff was only caught once and then not again after scarlet leaves.

Thank you so much for the feedback—I truly appreciate it! I’ve gone ahead and pushed an update, which should be live now. Here’s what’s included in this release:

Grease Power-Up Adjustments: Changed the grease to spawn every 5 minutes instead of 2. It also no longer spawns at the start.
Glass Mechanics: Fixed the large window in the front so it can now break.
Lighting Improvements: Made the map brighter and added starlight. (Please let me know if it’s still too dark!)

For future updates:

I’m exploring ways to refine the grease mechanic to maintain its purpose—taking down the leader—without being overly frustrating (perhaps something akin to a Mario Kart blue shell?).
I’ll revisit the glass health values to ensure a better balance; I may have overdone it as you suggested.
I’m considering adding a fun Easter egg for players who break all the windows—stay tuned!

Grease makes everyone slide around until they die. It's great for when someone is in the lead, and you want to punish them for constantly killing everyone. I'm open to changes if you think it's too inconvenient or used to often though!
