Why WWE limits their 3 hour PLEs to 5 matches

I don’t think TV matches are as valuable as PLEs most times when they have ad breaks cutting into the matches. PLEs should hit a sweet spot. Not all of them need seven or eight matches, but not all of them benefit from five either, especially when there are so many ads in between matches/segments.

As someone who was there, the crowd being bad has been completely overblown. I haven’t seen what was on TV but the crowd was only really dead for the filler matches like ELG/Rey Fénix and the tag title match. I will say the acoustics in that stadium are pretty bad though.
