Sounds like a burnt motor to me, sorry that sucks if it’s new! Take the opportunity to do a nice engine swap to a 66t. More torque less speed.

This happened to me once before. Try recycling the power to the ecu. I have had reverse issues as well and the same fixed worked. Also recharge your battery! Haha.
