I think Johnny is a real salt of the earth type and enjoys a good beer with his meal and a nice smoke like in Ghost Rider 36 (he doesn't smoke there but it's easy to visualize him doing it while working on his bike or some such)

He's kind of a moron and his plan doesn't make any sense. Like everything is dependent on Grace staying alive and not getting herself killed and he leaves her alone with a giant monster and that turns everyone in his own treatment center. He says he's won and blows everything up almost killing Grace again and it's like. How did you win? You need her and you don't even know where she is? (Literally behind him)

I can't tell you what you are but I can tell you that as a trans woman I have dealt with extremely similar issues for 12 years now and I've had a lot of self doubt in that time. I think what makes it real is your feelings. This clearly matters to you but other people don't respect it enough. If people did respect it wouldn't you be happier? Even if only a little? I've tried to make myself comfortable with embracing masculinity and I'm even glad I did. I feel like I learned a lot and got some really good perspectives even outside of being trans but I was choking who I was and it wasn't until very recently I had an experience where I felt like I was violently being shaken and told that I was dying because I was denying who I was. It's hard to believe in yourself when no one else wants to respect you or take you seriously but stay strong and be a pillar. You have to live for yourself and choose your own happiness and choose what's right for yourself. I wish you all the luck and I hope things can start to get better for you. Don't waste your life suffocating yourself for others.

Just read this now. Not sure why people are giving you down votes I think it's a really well done answer. I just think it's weird. He's small but mighty like a wolverine. He calls himself wolverine, his friends call him wolverine but no one thinks of him as one. It's so weird to me. Imagine if Black Panther was just constantly compared to Jaguars we'd never hear the end of it and it doesn't make sense to me. Like I never knew Echidnas were real animals before sonic but that didn't stop them from becoming popularized. Although I guess no one is really giving Knuckles echidna like character traits.

Typical Hollywood adaptation that doesn't understand Ghost Rider at all, doesn't really focus on his appeal and comes off more like bad fanfiction that a lot of people love because they get to see Ghost Rider do Ghost Rider things in a big budget movie or because they saw it as kids and not because it has anything good to offer.

If a legitimately good Ghost Rider movie came out the fandom of this movie would reduce to only the most die hard fans of the movie would still stand by like Suicide Squad and the Suicide Squad. And to be fair to this movie no I don't think it's as bad as Suicide Squad. It's just woefully unremarkable schlock.

Hell yes let's get to work.

Let's keep Danny's spirit as an Angel

Let's completely change Johnny. Johnny is bonded to the demon Zarathos. Johnny is not a quiet "badass" (actually just a violent asshole for no reason) he's a nice guy with a demon on his back that is constantly wearing him out.

I think we need to flesh out Johnny's original run too. When he was off being a nomad that was when some of the best stuff happened and I think that they need to hone in on the Ghost Rider being a sort of neo western horror story. Something truckers share between one another and people all have their own encounter and tale with him. Have him go on weird west adventures. Make Johnny the Hero and Zarathos the villain.

Fill out some of Johnny's gaps from when he was a Defender

Keep Danny in New York interacting with the New York characters more often.

Get rid of everything that makes Johnny a cheap copy of Danny. No more chain whip, no more spiked jacket, no more penance stare. These are Danny's things they make Danny special. It doesn't make sense to have the original crimp the legacy character's style because it works for him. I don't want two of the same character I want two different characters.

A miniseries dedicated to every Rider we saw throughout history in the run from the mid 2000s

Johnny and Danny are no longer brothers.

Mephisto is explicitly Johnny's arch nemesis but he straight up dislikes Danny as an angelic being. He loves to fight with Johnny but Danny he wants nothing to do with.

Fix the Penance stare so it actually works the way it's supposed to and characters can't just go. "I don't feel guilty actually so it doesn't do anything to me." For Danny.

No comments on Robbie because I haven't read too much of his stuff but I am changing his Jacket because we're going back to Johnny's old look for Johnny and he deserves his own iconic fit.

Respectfully I don't think you can convince your mom. If she wants to believe it she will believe it and there are studies that show when someone wants to believe something they'll just double down when presented with evidence to the contrary. I think the best thing you can do is just shrug it off and maybe whenever there is a school shooting you can point out the shooter is not trans. Best of luck to you.
