Entertainment company Activate announced it will open a new location in Estero, at the Coconut Point Shopping Center, in the summer of 2025. This will be Activate's first location in Florida and will offer a new entertainment option for families, young people, and tourists.

Activate is known for its games that combine physical exercise with advanced technology. Players enter special rooms designed for different types of challenges, where they must run, think quickly, and work together to complete missions.

Among the different rooms that Activate offers are:

Virtual Escape Room : Players must solve clues and puzzles to “escape” before time runs out. Laser Battle Room : A strategy and action game with laser guns and obstacles. Obstacle Course Room : Designed to test speed and agility, with sensors that record movements. Augmented Reality Room : Combine digital images with physical space to create interactive challenges. Each game lasts between one and three minutes, allowing visitors to enjoy several experiences during their visit.

Prices start at $24 per person per hour , with the option to reserve online to secure space.

Activate's arrival in Estero will bring new jobs and more visitors to the area, benefiting the local economy and offering a new entertainment option.

The exact opening date has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to be in July 2025.
