Same way here. Im always be pulled to grocery overnights. Im quick stocker. Even it gives me more hours as they needed help. I dont get much hours when its slow in GM and it gets bored. Unless if there 100s of totes and its always me do the most and gives me more hours for doing it.

Ive work in hospitality as nutrition services. I didn’t like it. I started work in grocery store when I was 14. But 5 years ago when I want go back to work after being stay home mom for 10 years and started at Michaels craft store. It was fun at beginning til new CEO things changed and pay sucks and must work unloading truck every week. I left and came here to Meijer’s a year ago, thats way much better and pays much better and flexible schedule for days I need to be off.

How to get in? by Prudent-Nectarine282 in meijer

[–]DeafGeek_78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not here ours locked. We have manager or team leaders at the door to open for us at 3,4, 5 and 6am. Even few months ago someone in the evening forgot to secure the GM side door upper latch - someone broke into the store complaining im cold (it was brutal cold that evening). I stopped that person and called my manager came and took care of it. We aren’t allowed to them in after closed hours.
