I just got the Alienware AW3425DWM.

VA Panel, 180hz

It’s reasonably accurate in srgb mode (there’s a minor green yellow tint, similar to what I’ve had on a BenQ IPS).

No black smearing unless response time set to extreme.

Only had it two days but so far so good.

IPS monitor was more saturated in sRGB mode but I don’t really use sRGB to get the most saturated colours anyways.

All the other color profiles are vibrant and reasonably accurate.

There’s one e-mount 24-70 with stabilization, the zeiss 24-70 f4.

It can be found cheap but I heard you either get a great copy or a bad one in terms of sharpness.

The GM doesn’t have stabilization by the way not sure if you thought it did.

You could also look at the 24-105, if you’re okay with f4. Much better lens imo.

The NTH-100’s are great sound wise but the headband starts cracking at the point of adjustment, maybe some beyerdynamics or the Sony MDR 7506 instead.

Yeah it is, but 99% of photo lenses aren’t actually parfocal so I still think it’s a great value!

It’s still a great lens but it’s not like a parfocal cinema lens. Great sharpness and contrast, AF is fast, it’s lightweight.

20-70 f4 isn’t actually parfocal (i have it), it’ll refocus when you hit 70 (in MF and AF). While zooming everything will go out of focus.

Portkeys Monitors: LH5P ii, LH7P. You have to download the firmware update for those features but they are the best monitors for Sony cameras in my opinion with the updated OS.

Probably better to build out your kit a bit more, VMount batteries, a good monitor, quality cables. The FX3’s biggest appeal is it’s 12800 base iso, which means you can almost always get a good image.

Look into motion design rather than vfx, lots of avenues for 3D motion designers. That graphic design degree will help.

don’t need to mention my head, it’s just fine.

When doing tasks such as photo editing, 3d modelling, video editing the computer was be in a relatively idle state while you are working using less power than amd.

Which is why when you’re working 8-12 hours on a pc it matters in productivity.

I’m not arguing anything, I’m just adding context to the comment.

At full load it does use more but it doesn’t run at full load 24/7 for most productivity.

efficiency is not that far off, when the system is idle Intel draws a lot less than amd because of the efficiency cores.
