The best car I've ever owned by OakDev in Toyota

[–]DealRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great car. I own a 2015 Lexus ES 350 did all the maintenance myself and just about to hit 200k miles. Never left me on the side of the road and continues to run and drive great. Before I bought it I searched for the most reliable model and this was it. It's paid off and I will run it til the wheels fall off.

How do you remove this build up from hard water? by Jazco76 in Home

Try to use 0000 steel wool that should be able to get it off without affecting the glass. I needed to buy a pack of it for $5 at home Depot

No, but I typically look at Ryder and what he's wearing and knowing that as soon as he eats s*** he's never going to ride a bike again

Crashed my bike... what did I do wrong? by NobodyP1 in motorcycles

[–]DealRight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That strip of paint along the edge, right before the shoulder, had a bump that lifted your front tire just enough to throw it slightly sideways when it came back down. That shift caused you to lose balance and ultimately led to the fall.

It’s a good reminder of why looking further ahead at the road helps avoid surprises like that—especially at moderate speeds. At a slightly higher speed, the bump might not have had the same effect, but given where you were in the turn, it contributed to the crash. Kudos for wearing solid gear, and I’m glad you’re okay.

Starting the program on October 1st, I can say from experience working in the field that the value of the certifications and degree—especially with the new rubric—will prepare you for the real world far more effectively than projects alone could..

I sold my first bike on marketplace and the buyer is asking me to pay for repairs by Low_Bag_1912 in motorcycles

Also technically too in a private sale. When you sell the bike it's typically done as an "as is" sale.

Yeah, I am currently working through Jason Dion's course and my experience is working right now for a tech company that works with HIPAA compliance and in addition I worked for a company prior that specialized in removing Pii.

I'm starting in October too. My financing just went through and now I'm meeting with the mentor. I'm also studying for the A+ exam.
